I thought it had something to do with his grandpa, but yea, it prob activated whenever he thought about his grandpa’s last words and thought he’s about to die and want to be surrounded by people! Didn’t occurred to me til now. His grandpa also wanted to say something important about his parents, too bad Yuji didn’t listen, it could be his parents’ whereabouts or answer to their mystery. When the memory thing happened the second time, Sukuna was clearly bothered about something, but even he don’t know what it is. I’m extremely curious about that memory thing ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I love how Athy actually likes Ezekiel but because Lucas would always interrupt them (even when they were a child) before Athy could even process her and Ezekiel’s feelings, he managed to stop Athy from developing love for Ezekiel and I STAN AN ML WHO ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING AND NOT JUST WAIT FOR THE HEROINE TO DECIDE AND MAKE UP HER MIND. I don’t think Athy likes Ezekiel in a romantic way. I think she likes him more as a person and finds him kind of good looking. When she understood Ezekiel still has a crush on her although she felt flattered she was kind of uncomfortable about it too. That’s why she went with Lucas so easily even when she knew Lucas was lying because Lucas gave her an opportunity to escape from that awkward situation. She also felt conflicted when Ezekiel said he thinks of Jeanette as his younger sister because Athy knows that Jeanette does like Ezekiel in a romantic way but isn’t aware of it yet, also Ezekiel did love Jeanette in the original novel so Athy feels a little conflicted and awkward about the situation. Also Athy is much more natural and her true self with Lucas rather than with Ezekiel. With Ezekiel she’s more putting up a front and hiding her true thoughts and intentions. It’s just unnatural overall. It’s not that comfortable. With Lucas on the other hand she’s 100 percent her true self and she’s very open with him. She doesn’t hide her true personality and she’s very comfortable with him. Lucas also accepts Athy as she is.
Idk how Spoon would do it in manhwa, but as I read the novel, Athy was actually attracted to Ezekiel and admitted that she had feelings for him, and said that it’s thanks to Lucas that she managed to stop herself from developing it to something deeper, because she knew Ezekiel’s dad is her enemy. She said that Lucas interrupting them every time is extremely helpful, because then she could reject Ezekiel and her feelings all at the same time. —Spoiler from novel tho, so Idk if Spoon would ever put that in manhwa.
I love how we could totally ship Yushi with everyone and it would still sail!! He’s like the absolute uke that’s good with every guy in the series lmao. I just love how this story is unlike the other kids-father reincarnation stories where kids try to capture their dads. The twins know how cold-hearted their father is, and the thought of sucking up to their dad never crossed their minds. They’re just desperate to live and want to escape while they can. I think this is really refreshing seeing the dad had a taste of his own medicine. Also the brothers, Idk what’s the deal they never thought of visiting the twins before, but according to the raws, the three elder bros really likes them. I really wanna know what went wrong, but they just lost their chance having a good lil sis and lil bro. All four of them lost the twins’ trust the moment they decided not to visit them even for once all those five years. （￣へ￣）
