I’ve re-read this so many times and I think it’s really interesting how both Senku and Tsukasa are both saving people and the world with the only way they know. Senku saving people with his science and Tsukasa ‘saving the world’ with his strength by stopping Senku from bringing civilization back. I remember reading where people have to choose between saving people or saving the world. If you choose to save the people, then the world might be sacrifice and if you choose to save the world, then the people might be the one being sacrificed. In this case, Senku and Tsukasa chose a different option. We kow Senku is not trying to harm the world using science and saving people using it but Tsukasa felt threatened about how world would become in the future. Not just the mother nature but also how society would become therefore he chose to stop civilization and choose to sacrifice the old people for the sake of the young ones and their ‘future’ world. No particular motive here. Just wanna say my thoughts tee-hee (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
