I don’t like Jennette nor hate her. More of like, indifferent? Like, when she’s there, then she’s there. No hate nor like. But when I read further the novel, I.... I give up. I realized I hate her after all... ╥﹏╥

It’s not really so bad that she became a super btch but she became envious of Athanasia (which I kind of understand) because Athy is love by Claude (still believes he’s her dad) and love by Ejiekel. She realized her feelings to Ejiekel romantically and that’s when it started. She started following him around whenever and never leave his side and avoid Athy even when Athy approach her. I don’t particularly ship Ejiekel x Athy but we all know Athy was attracted to Ejiekel and Jenette kinda tried to hinder the two to meet. Btw, it all happened after Claude regained his memory. So like, after Claude’s amnesia, the villain is still, sadly, alive.. Still not done the reading but I apparently Athaernitas (in Anastacius’ body) is planning something again against Lucas and Athy, and I think he’ll try to take advantage of Jenette’s insecurity rn, so, more drama..(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Webtoon Jenette and Novel Jenette are pretty much the same tho? And like I said, I started totally not liking her after the ‘Claude’s amnesia’ which the webtoon haven’t even covered yet~ How could we know webtoon Jenette would be different from novel Jenette after? Y’all really need to start reading lines here~~ And what’s it to u guys anyways if I hate her?~~ Webtoon Jenette or Novel Jenette is pretty much from the same story, so I don’t understand the need to differentiate the two? Like? For real?~~ (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

well from what I've heard from novel readers shes a lot more of the jealous type in the novel? kind of petty too (although not without reason) and in the webtoon we haven't seen any of this from her as she's been nothing but supportive of athy. so I feel like it is necessary to distinguish them apart from one another. otherwise, its just guilt by association (people blaming her for things her novel counterpart does) and not judging webtoon jettie fairly based on a bias. I'm okay with people hating her for GOOD reasons. but so far all I've seen is "but shes so boring~" (she doesnt have to be interesting) or "shes trying to steal claude yooo" unsubstantiated worries of things that haven't happened and contradict the said characters personality.

Before I read the novel, I read the webtoon and tbh I don’t really hate her. I don’t feel mad or anything that she became the reason of the orig Athy’s demise bcz we all know she’s not at fault. After I read the novel, the two are pretty much the same tho? I read it so I know bcz the author is kind enough to write some parts based on Jenette’s perspective so I could say I know that she and her on the webtoon is pretty much the same. And like I said, I started hating her after Claude’s amnesia incident which the webtoon hasn’t cover yet. How could y’all know she’d be different when u haven’t seen it yet? Besides, webtoon Jenette or novel Jenette is still the same character from the same story. Y’all oughta know better than differentiating the two, like, really. I ain’t even trying to fight anyone here. Just giving my opinion after reading the novel and y’all are fighting when u haven’t even read it yet?

yeah I just cant see them that way, if everything were the same as the novel then athy dies (disappears) and lucas goes off to find her in a different dimension, athy stays mad at claude for everything he did while amnesiac (shes not as forgiving) leaving claude miserable, anastacius is actually lucas mage friend reincarnated and jennete is in love with izekiel and jealous of athy (I think even the ML has been changed) its obvious that spoon is going a different direction with the story and characters in the webtoon this time around some of these novel readers were the ones to tell me to just treat them differently in the first place as I've went ahead and spoiled myself on a deal of the plot, are you telling me they are wrong to do so or less knowledgeable then you on the subject? although you said you dont blame her for athys demise, you certainly dont give enough focus to the things you've stated shes not at fault for "And like I said, I started hating her after Claude’s amnesia incident which the webtoon hasn’t cover yet." some parts of character internal dialogue matching up with their novel counterparts dont make them the same character, and if you've read the novel and think everything is going to be the same you'd know lucas shows and saves the day anyways in the end, putting an abrupt stop to whatever your worried about happening with jennette and claude because of the curse. jennette seeking out a relationship with her (alleged) father doesnt make her selfish but I've seen people claiming such things. I think think its unfair anastacius gets to sit there with his shirt open receiving the hungry stares of 1000 fangirls and get no judgment, but his daughter gets the flack for everything he does. but you do you, I certainly cant force people to change their opinions.

Okay, I just realized we’re not in the same page. I’m not hating on Jenette because of her affection of Claude. I’m hating her being her. I understand enough that she grew up knowing Claude and Athy is her family, so I get why she wants to be close to him/her. I hate her because of her personality later in the game and her naiveness that is completely out of the world. She’s probably the dumbest character in the whole series. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

yea people of mix up or conflate naivety with a lack of intelligence because of some poor writing abilities and tropes (shounen protagonists suffer from this treatment too as they are often portrayed as dense/oblivious)
but if you take Jennettes messed up childhood; growing up in isolation by an overbearing caretaker into account... aaand you consider her actual age. shes going to seem pretty immature/naive next to our tragic herione athy here who has 20+ years of experience, a past life and inside scoop of novel plot knowledge under her belt..
still, people cant help but compare them and not like jennete. so what do they expect her to do to change that? (perhaps nothing...or at least have less screen time)
I feel like they just need someone to target/blame for the lack of claude/athy seeing as how the ACTUAL villains provide so little presence or direct threat to mc themselves... they mostly just stand around looking good without a shirt on so the thirsty fangirls put their blinders on and direct their attention to the "witch" instead xD (woman hating woman over a man. its always a classic)

I wouldn’t really say Jenette has a messed up childhood. She has no parents but she was living a pretty luxurious life and the whole Alpheus family was taking care of her. Not to mention she has a pretty good role model like Ijekiel and she could sulk and act spoiled (not in a bad way) just like a normal kid. She’s still a noble and interact with other nobles. It’s sad that the author tried too hard to make her into a totally innocent and naive character that’s it just way too impossible if you consider everything around her. I guess real family is still different from your uncle’s family taking care of you. Even now, we could all see Spoon is trying to get us like Jenette by not following the plot and giving her more scenes but I have to say it’s just really not done properly. It completely backfired. Also, the villain sucks. Idk how Spoon plans on doing it in the comic, but in the novel, the villain is literally just obsessed with Lucas, and... *sigh* Idk. I guess the author originally planned the story to be fluff but abruptly decided to add a little dark effect in the story ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

(Kinda spoiler guys so read at ur own risk). So I saw the raws and I am well aware about what happened in history. I wonder if it would follow the history? Because when I saw the raws, Buckingham and Richard already loved each other altho because I can’t read japanese, Idk if they already confessed. But in the pictures, u could see they kinda already know already how does the other feel about the other. If it plans to follow the history, how? Because I can’t really see any reason Buckingham would betray him. For the murder of princes? Or for not rewarding him?? I can’t really imagine Buckingham turning his back on Richard because of those reasons. Someone pls enlighten meee..

I am in serious need of spoilers guys! Pls! Someone tell me what is the oath all about?! I mean, I could pretty much guess that castiello can’t obey the royal family but could someone pls tell me what would happen if they did?? And, if u have read the novel or smth, did they ever disobey the royals? Bcs I read once in the spoilers how twisted the whole royal family, like, every single one of em are crazy! Pls someone spoil my sad heart here ╥﹏╥
Sorry Chief, but Kabane can do anything EXCEPT DIE. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
