This used to be cute.. until the Duke changed and highkey became so creepy with her. Like wtf was the logic behind him sniffing her under her dress = gaining the courage to talk to his father??? That scene, along with the part where he lowkey forced himself on her, was incredibly UNCOMFORTABLE!! I really hope the MC explodes on him eventually because I can't stand her passive, doormat-like 'kindness' anymore.

Ok, but I hate the emperor. I dont care about what ever sob story he has because it still wont justify his actions! Like what proper adult would deceive his own grandkid? He even abandoned and ERASED all evidences of his son's suffering and torture.
God, I sure hope he suffers and feels some intense angst in the future but given how flowery everything is going... The chances are slim. I bet MC and the Duke are gonna forgive him so easily...
I agree with everything you said tbh, but I’m pretty sure that the relationship between the Prince and King was already extremely strained until Han came in and try to fix that relationship, knowing what her father went through but she had at least hoped that the king wouldn’t say what he recently said about not regretting his decision. Maybe we’ll see more about all of that situation as the story progresses.
