I will never understand team pink, Seju is my favorite character in the entire manhwa. I love her story, her flaws, the complexity of her character and because i love her that much, i would never want her to stay in a toxic relationship with someone who purposely treated her like garbage for 10 years. She deserves so much better, she deserves to LIVE because up till then she hadn't lived at all, she deprived herself from so many things because of Sumin, her dependancy on her was sad and unhealthy. I never understood the appeal of their relationship, like why? because they had hot sex and few past sweet moments that were tainted by years of hurting each other? no thank you.
Seju can do way better, I hope she starts living for herself and no one else. I hope she finds happiness and is able to share that happiness with someone who treats her right and obviously I hope that someone is Won.

are you actually referring to my previous post? ;p
well it's just my own feelings towards the story of the manhwa. I saw how blissful seju in her school days with sumin. and so it hurts a little that they ended up like that because I'm actually the one not able to move on with their story.
I don't intend or mindlessly force them to be together. it is just sad. But I really wanted Seju to be happy. and like what you said, she deserves someone better.
And for so many times I have said this, I want Seju to be happy. I believe that Baek Seju, among all the characters in this manhwa so far, deserves the greatest love.

seems like my first assumption was right? Seju was going back to SK bc of the email she received from work but then we all jumped the gun on her going back to Sumin...still doesn't explain the red mittens and her firing Won tho.
And we all thought she wouldn't leave Won after what happened but she left her alone in the hospital kndsnksd, she gave her brother what he deserved, queen. Now i hope she goes back to Jeju right away, she kinda ignored Sumin too i'm glad. Anyway i'm just assuming since I don't understand any of what they were saying.

reading ch 15 in english is a whole new experience. What if Yeonhwa's ex is Dahye coworker? that would be wild. Dahye makes me so confused, sometimes I think she wants the old Yeonhwa back but some other times i think she is just scared as shit. Yeonhwa was so smug on this chapter love that, and she likes what's going on with Dahye

Seju spent her whole life hating her mother and now she finally knows that her mom didn't leave her because she wanted to, i wonder how this new information will hit her, will she get sadder or will a weight be lifted off her shoulders. If she ever meets Won's parents maybe they can tell her that her mother loved her even when she was inside her womb. I really hope this time they put the brother behind bars (or under ground) because last time they didn't even call the cops.
Seju will have to stay in the island now to take of Won, hopefully there isn't major damage in her head. She probably went to the villa to tell Seju the truth but will she tell her now?. Also I love how naturally Seju says Won's name now, it shows that she was calling her caretaker just for the sake of it before. Whenever I see the red mittens I get pissed off, never hated a pair of fictional clothes this much lmao.

I expect tearjerker moments coming up for poor Seju, who will be devastated that the warm love of a mother she was craving for at one point in her life had been stolen away from her. At the same time though, learning this truth is the much-needed progress to help change her outlook on life. She has always been insecure over her abandonment issues. But now she can start to believe she's not alone anymore.
As for the red mittens, it was kind of symbolic to see her struggle to free the piece (or should I say Sumin's leftover love) out of her mouth. Then you have this powerful moment she spat it out at last (finally letting go of the past) and called out Won-Ah (her new love) on top of her lungs. It's safe to say she won't be thinking about her ex for quite a while.

The symbology of spitting the gloves for me was also clear in this chapter. And the way Seju called Won was clear that the emotional feeling must have begun. I'm not Korean, but when you use the honorific AH this is like calling someone you have a lot of intimacy. This will make me happy and more anxious for the next chapter.

I remember her mother, but I was wondering how old she was when they killed her mother, I always thought that Seju was still a baby or very young.
You know I was thinking that Little Won could have been a witness for the murder of Seju's mother?, she was living with her parents at the hotel when they work there, right?. And that is why she repeats several times "I'm sorry" to Seju, maybe she feels guilty for not saying or doing anything at that moment?.

Doubt Wonnie could have known or seen Seju's mother if she died shortly after giving birth to Seju. She is 7 years younger than Seju after all, meaning she probably wasn't even born when Ahn Chahee was still alive. However, it is possible Won's parents might have known her since they worked at the hotel before.
Won apologizing seems more like she feels guilty for keeping the secret about her real job from Seju and also for not being there to protect her the exact moment the brother came in to attack her.

But only if Seju was a baby when her mother died, then yes this theory would be impossible. But if her mother died for example when she was 11 years old, then Wonnie would be 4. There could be a scene where she was hidden with fear since she was very little while Seju's mother was being murdered.
Another thing that came to my mind, what if Seju's mother don't really died? and little Wonnie was the one who saved her, coming out of her hideout and cutting the rope that was about to kill her, but Seju's mother asked her not to say anything in order to fake her death and be able to escape from her murderer and that crazy family, I know that this would make her a shitty mom for abandoning Seju but maybe she didn't see another option, and maybe it was her who was actually taking care of Seju all this time from a distance and in the shadows, having Seju's brother watch over her, hiring bodyguards and who knows what else.
I know I'm imagining a lot lol

Well, to be fair, I don't believe there's a hard confirmation when Seju's mother had exactly died. I mean I suspect it happened shortly after she gave birth to Seju since she would have at least been presented once in a flashback alongside her daughter during the main story or Paradise, and yet there's none. Then, of course, you have Seju referring to her as "that woman" like she barely knows her. I can be wrong though.
It's possible the father choose to raise Seju himself, and the mother was kept away in that hotel for her own safety. If so, little Wonnie could have known Ahn Chahee and witnessed the murder incident.
As for the mother faking her death and staying in the shadows this whole time, I'm gonna have to rule this one out, as interesting as it may sound. Like you said, it will still make her a shitty mother who more or less abandoned her child, and that's no good for Seju's mental health. This poor girl suffered enough already. Another twist being thrown like this will be too much drama.

Main story is mostly focused on Sumin and Paradise is also narrated mostly from her perspective, also Paradise was about happy times and a prologue for One.
We have no confirmation of Seju's age when her mother died, but it would not be strange that she had grown apart from her mother, since Ahn Chahee not only lived in that hotel just for her safety but also because she was the mistress of Seju's father and obviously she couldn't live in the same house with him. I remember in a chapter that her brothers mention her mother and how she cried because of this woman, referring to Ahn Chahee. Her father could have taken Seju since she was her daughter and he wanted to raise her in his own house with his other children?.
And don't forget that TG love to make Seju suffer :/. I doubt that something like that happened, but I was just imagining things lol

so we got another coo coo bananas bitch in da house lmaoo Dahye's co worker is into the sisters just like our albino used to be... i guess she will be like the new "villain" of the story maybe, she seems shady as hell.
finally Yang Dahye was able to sleep peacefully, all she had to do was "destroy that bitch" yet she panicked when a tiny possibily of Yeonhwa disappearing on her arised, and she calmed down as soon as she saw Yeonhwa's ass in the kitchen (yeonhwa looked really hot there whew).
Honestly Dahye is so immature and seems to be very insincere with herself. At this point i believe she is in love with Yeonhwa at least that's how i see it, she wants things to be like before and lowkey she also want Yeonhwa to be like before. Also the shopping part was so CUTE, i'm weak for that kind of stuff.

I thought this would be a happy chapter but I guess not. I hate that Seju keeps thinking about Sumin like that, Sumin fucked everyone and their mothers, she even called Seju while she was having sex with someone, she called seju to pick up her when she was wasted or hooking up with girls. Sumin intentionally hurt her FOR 10 YEARS but Seju keeps thinking of Sumin as a victim, as someone she hurt. It makes me so sad, she srsly needs to start caring for herself and loving herself more.
Sexy time was ruined by sadness :( BUT Seju called herself UNNIE, the way i screamed, that literally was in my wishlist for this series lmao. If Won ever calls her unnie i'm gonna die. Also it seems that the pronouns used in the previous chapters when they were talking about their exes were gender neutral so they didn't actually said "she/her".
As for the end of the chapter I'M SCARED and tired, can the author please let Seju breathe...

I was sad that she did not have sex. Seju needs to stop blaming herself for a mistake that's already been 10 years. You have to move on. I think now Won is coming to save her in the next chapter. I doubt Seju will die. Regarding the phone conversation, I would like to know who she was talking to and what the subject was in those dialogues.

Seju really needs to move on. From what i remember in previous chapters someone emailed Seju from work and told her that they wanted to meet in person, so Seju might be going back to the mainland for that reason. On the other hand it could be that Seju is planning to go back for good bc of Sumin, I even think she had the gloves that Sumin gave her laying on the table but I really hope it isn't
like that. And if she gets to see Sumin in SK i hope she returns her the gloves and goes back to jeju island with Won.

Thank you for talking about the gloves, I kept thinking and I did not remember what it was. I really would like to know what subject she is talking about that is solved. On the man at the door I think it might be the same woman who tried to kill her and also that Do Won will return to get her earrings. Or try to talk to Seju about last night so it will save the seju from death.
I smell drama and im so here for it
