I didn't fully read the manga (not emotionally stable enough atm) but I skimmed through the whole thing right after finishing the movie. And honestly? The movie does NOT do this manga justice, there's so much more going on with the characters here than what I saw in the movie and I'm actually less happy with the movie now since I looked at its source material.
Dropped this at 75 cause I was worried it would get worse. This story has put me through the ringer from reading it as a joke to loving it so much, it better end happily or I'm gonna crash out like no one has crashed out before
I already knew what would happen but by the time I regreted my choices, I only had two chapters left so I had to finish. I was in too deep SOBBING
I literally hate when they do this. Childfree people are pretty ignored and it was kinda nice having a abo about a couple who is childfree. It sucks that again, babies are prioritized over what the characters originally wanted :|
It would be nice if they DECIDED they wanted to have kids instead of the vasectomy reversing without their knowledge.
But we need some kind of drama. This story has no bad guys, no miscommunication, no real obstacles between them etc.
I mean...do we? They're already dealing with a conflict of the family involvement. And discussing childbirth because one of them decides that maybe they actually DO want kids would be an obstacle and create some tension possibly because they arent sure how to bring it up. This conflict we have currently is two people who have absolutely no control over if they are already about to have a kid now. Abortions exist but being pregnant when neither of you wanted or decided on it is so common in these and childfree people don't have a ton of representation where they say "I don't want kids" and the author actually...follows through cause having kids is like the "natural" progression of a romance.
I dunno, I'd be happy with them having kids but not like this

honestly? Yeah! I like how they handled this chapter and I like the openness of their conversation on kids and why there may be uncertainty there :3!
