I've read this a lot, very much love it BUT just skip chapter 11. It's not worth the anger and honestly, I dunno why so many mangakas need to have a side story about an antagonist who made one of the people in the main couple suffer. Like, he doesn't need a redemption arc, he was sleeping with a kid, abusing said kid and then stalked him to his school trying to threaten and hurt him again. No amount of backstory makes up for that :/

Just a weird thing to include, I don't really mind that they got together as adults. Unnecessary information to add that they got together after a child had been pining for someone who was an adult.
I remember when I first watched the anime, I tried reading this and never finished. I'm rewatching it again and decided to come back but after reading all these comments, I might just stay satisfied with the anime itself alone cause what do you mean after the dysphoria that Takatsuki experienced, she ends up staying a girl?
Detransitioning can happen, but it seems like from what I've heard, the journey for the ftm character is not handled well and what in the world do you mean someone gropes a child???
I agree, it really just left a bad Taste in my mouth. As a trans man, the scene in which Takatsuki started wearing skirts again made me feel like garbage. Appearently she did it because she had to get her shit together, but to me it felt like capitulating and that is something I have no choice but to do. Otherwise I might even be kicked out of my parents Home. I know some people detransition, and thats completely valid. But especially when theres so few transmasc characters, this story sends the message that they'll grow out of it when they are older. Even worse is the fact that the only adult LGBT Characters present are creepy as hell. Why would an adult want to spend time with children they just met on the streets? And the first thing the only gay man present in the manga does when he meets takatsuki (whom he perceived as a cis middle school boy) is grope her genitals. So the only adults are one pedo molester and a woman who is friends with him, how nice. I know the author isnt queer, but if she/he wanted to be respectful, the first thing they'd understand is that accusation of pedophilia has been used as justification for violence and murder
I can't say that I completely understand the experience of being trans, I'm demigender. But something I have noticed is how very underrepresented trans men are. There's this strange focus in media, transphobes and sometimes even our own community that solely focuses on trans women and not the experiences of trans men. And I hate to think that it comes from a place of misogyny and that fact that girls are more seen as going through a phase and simply being a tomboy.
The way that the people the kids should look up to in this is very much creepy too, I definitely agree. I grew up with the anime, and seeing that the two had adults to help guide them made me feel so happy as a queer kid still figuring things out but it really sucks now to see how it is in the manga and maybe how it might've been in the anime, as I may have missed it with the perspective of a kid. It's majorly disappointing because I recommend the anime so often, and now I can't do the same with the manga cause it just does not sit right with me.
I recently reread this so maybe that's why I remember it so vividly but y'all...we got signs that this man clearly is composing himself. I don't remember the chapter but he had a moment when they first had sex where he nearly snapped out of the calm, gentle man he clearly is facading as half the time. It's pretty clear he's holding back most times they get intimate so I'm confused why everyone's surprised and suddenly screaming he's a red flag?
Yes, rawdogging is...a choice, but aside from that, I'm really lost on how we're all going full 180 and saying he's completely toxic. Bro just lost himself, I know we've been scourned by other bad semes but can we calm down a little and not jump the man after one chapter ? If it turns out he is toxic, that sucks but I don't think he's ooc here, he's just been able to stay professional, but it's clear that Taegun sees through his professional demeanor and knows he wants it less than just as a way to guide and more as an intimate act between them. This is dubious at best but there's consent on both sides, and I'd be more worried about the no condom or lube thing is Taegun was in distress but he seems fine with it. I dunno that parts iffy but that's about it.
I agree with everything except the part where taegun seeing through his demeanor because the guy had always kept the fact that taegun had a massive impact in his life and was head over heels for him as a result to himself, and only the guy knows about that. The rawdogging was probably an oversight on his behalf too, considering taegun seems like he need urgent guiding and he did just got him away from taegun's groomer and abuser and was really mad at the groomer as a result. Man was probably venting his anger through seggs

SPOILERS:
If you remember a few chapters back Taegun discovered he did in fact break Eunsung’s ribs and Eunsung told him to grant his wish later? Well they basically go on a date (disguised as just ba simple dinner) and while at dinner Taegun notices Eunsung’s heartbeat but he dismisses it. Later, after dinner, Taegun takes them to see stars and he notices the heartbeats again and wants to dig deeper. Eunsung also suggests they should do that again (star gazing) making Taegun suspicious of his intentions. The next chapter shows Taegun avoiding Eunsung and Barbatos asks what’s that about and Eunsung tells him that people can’t control their heartbeats.
Overall Taegun is very conflicted, mainly because he doesn’t want to deal with romantic feelings. He’s been burned once when he allowed himself to be vulnerable and really doesn’t want to go through something like that again, but now Eunsung is trapped in that dungeon that makes you relive your nightmares all do to Jaeha removing the metal defense on him and Taegun is about to go look for him even though the guild leader prohibited from entering because he’d be an easy target for the dungeon.
Is there SA before I start this and get invested? Is there SA in the future for anyone who's read the raws if there are any?
