Hi hi!! For those curious about ch.8's happenings, I made a summary this time again (In the google docs link below)
Please tell me what you think!! (alternatively: cry with me)

OMGGG WHEN IT HITS U THAT THE TITLE NOT ONLY MEANS "spring has come" but also literally "haru has come"(into kaede's life) !!!
(im emo ppl. I can relate to kaede a lot and seeing that spring has come, along with the person he loves, into his life, makes me feel warm inside. at least he's happy (": )
...
I agree with the comments that this needed more chapters to let us feel for some of the characters more and know about them, and to flesh out some details more properly and whatnot... But you know, it's rare for mangas to have more than one volume. And it's the mangaka's first work, at that. I'm just glad we were able to read this story.

i fucking cried a little reading this. and I'm at school...
I'M SO GLAD THEY ENDED UP HAPPY TOGETHER LIKE IM JUST AAAAUGHHH ╥﹏╥
and I just realized after reading the comments that this is the sequel of "First Bite" (omg I'm so slow...) like that one-shot really left an empty hole in my heart since I read it a long time ago, but I'm glad that Yoshi found his happiness in this sequel (glad I found this again!) ┗( T﹏T )┛
Kakine-sensei's stories are as beautiful as always!

Hey, it's me again and I still don’t know how to summarize as always, so here’s a long detailed (and messy) explanation for ch.7
I'll get lazy with typing so later on it'll be like this: Tsu=Tsukuyomi, Ruri=Rurikawa.
I'll put the not-summary before I comment (a shit ton of stuff), so yeah without further ado here it is...
The chapter starts with a flashback, when Tsukuyomi and Rurikawa were in middle school.
They're in a health class (Rurikawa is just dozing off ? or plain uninterested lol) with their teacher saying things like "copulation is justice," (to literally translate it lol) "to leave behind their seed through breeding is their reason to live," and that "it most definitely is not something to be guilty about."
She explains that long ago, the humans who were facing extinction breeded with animals, and only their offspring remained.
I forgot to say this but this class is of alpha males only btw, and their teacher tells them that they're a superior, wise species with long lifespans, and that they don't need to pay any attention to Betas, their "food".
(There's a diagram in this page that shows some facts about the castes - I'll summarize it a little bit: The rare species have an abnormally long lifespan. Alphas have a slow growth, but they have a long lifespan. Meanwhile, Betas grow up quickly, and have a short lifespan; and they also make lots of children since they'll be eaten by alphas. . Just thought I'd mention this since I have a theory that uses this material later.)
So going back on track, their teacher emphasizes on "fate."
She tells them "not to get deceived by foolish myths such as 'fate'".
"Getting fooled by sweet lies such as 'fate' and bearing the children of betas," and "Longing and chasing after "rare species" (a double meaning with "ideal") too much, and end up being enthralled by a 'monster'" -- "Such useless shots are out of the question, since your long lives will go by in a flash and you'll go extinct." The teacher says this as a threat and most probably hypothetically, but it's kinda scary seeing how it's the actual current situation for Tsukuyomi and Rurikawa, respectively.
So fastforward to end of the class. (Unnecessary note but Tsukuyomi is cute wearing shorts and black socks. Okay continue). Two leopards -- I'm not sure but I think these guys were the ones with Kyougokuin in the early chapters -- approach Tsukuyomi and ask if he's a virgin. Tsu asks if that's weird. The two laugh at him for being lame, and that despite being the biggest in their class he's still a virgin and a kid.
They tell Tsu that if he graduates from being a virgin, he'll become an adult. Then Tsu up and asks if Rurikawa is a virgin. Ruri says he is, to which Tsu remarks with "If the cool and strong Rurikawa-san" is a virgin, then someone like him would be an ultra virgin. (lol Tsu pls)
In the next scene, Tsu invites Ruri to eat lunch with him, but Ruri says he's not hungry and goes off somewhere. Tsu thinks that Ruri has been cold lately, and that it's making him lonely. He wonders if Ruri came to hate him because he's always been a "lousy snake" but he brushes the thought off and goes to search for Ruri.
It's been an hour and Tsu searches for him by scent. He finally finds him, but he sees Ruri in the bushes, together with their teacher. The teacher sees Tsu and smiles at him (You probably know what's going on here,) and Tsu runs away.
He thinks to himself that Ruri has graduated from being a virgin before he knew it, and that Ruri has surely been an adult for a long time now; different from him who's still a child that hasn't gone into heat yet.
He thinks that "At this rate, the me who's a lousy snake and the excellent Rurikawa-san will eventually get separated in senior high," and that if he stays like this (as a "lousy snake"), he won't be able to stay by Rurikawa's side. (Anyway, Tsukuyomi really looks down on himself a lot :( and he even calls himself "Tsukuyomi-me," with "-me" being a humble suffix to address the self)
Later, Tsukuyomi is holding a book for sth like 'copulation advice with superior animals' and announces to himself that he'll graduate from being a virgin.
He says that if he follows the instructions from this textbook that he borrowed, he'll become a fine and dandy adult too (lol)
Then he realizes that he doesn't have a partner to do this with, and as he frets around, he hears a sound and sees Ruri sleeping on the ground near the bushes.
He proceeds to make Ruri his practice partner while he's asleep and says some really interesting lines lol. He's just following what's in the book.
Tsu thinks about how he didn't know about a lot of things in this book; and that he doesn't know the "adult Rurikawa-san," while their teacher does. He makes a sad face and puts the book down, and says "Rurikawa-san you dummy" while he nibbles on Ruri's ear ((CUTE))
Tsu stops because he notices Ruri is awake and is reading the book he was using. He apologizes and says that he wanted to be strong like Ruri, so he followed the book. He's cut off by Ruri asking if he believes in "fate".
Ruri then explains that it is determined that they are definitely going to meet their fate before they die. Ruri says that maybe they'll meet their fate in the future, or maybe they already have met them.
Tsukuyomi innocently replies, saying "Everyone will make children with that fated person, and then be happy, huh~?" to which Ruri says that there's no way it's as simple as that -- because one’s fated partner may not be limited to one person.
Then Ruri pushes down Tsukuyomi, saying “What if we aren’t just childhood friends, but “fated partners...”
Actually he was just fooling around, and says how stupid this stuff is. (Ruri was actually just copying the guy’s lines in the book)
Ruri dismisses it but he sees Tsukuyomi looking at him with bright eyes and a flushed face, chanting “fate” as if he was bound by a spell.
Ruri then smacks Tsu on the head, scolding him for going into heat just because he released a few pheromones -- “Just how easy are you?”
Ruri thought Tsu was strong against pheromones, since he hasn’t seen him go into heat, but the truth is that Tsu actually hasn’t gone into heat yet.
“Geez, it can’t be helped… I’ll stay by your side…” Rurikawa says, brushing his tail against Tsukuyomi’s (Tsu feels his heart thumping ((OHMYGOOD)))
“...Until you make children with someone decent”. At this, Tsukuyomi feels a prickle in his chest, but he seems to be confused as to why.
Ruri says that if he leaves him alone, then he’ll definitely get caught by someone dangerous. He sighs and says that since they’re already grown up, he thought they’d graduate from being childhood friends already.
Tsukuyomi whines as he hugs Ruri from behind saying that he wants to stay by Ruri’s side.
Ruri suddenly remembers, and wonders that aside from Tsukuyomi having his heat late, Tsu always had a larger body since the past. (like in the picture that was shown in ch.6)
But he just brushes it off and says that “there’s no way.”
And that’s the end!
“Is this just Rurikawa’s misunderstanding or could it be…?” -- Is the comment in the side that ends the chapter. What?? “Could be” what?!?! Goood im so thirsty for answers!! T____T
Anyway, that’s the end of the summary and it’s up to you if you want to read further (my theories and stuff)
Okay, first, I just need to comment on some things
1) tsukuyomi is too cute
2) wtf TSUKUYOMI AND RURIKAWA'S FACES ARE TOO CLOSE IN SO MANY SCENES like fuk u guys gon kiss or nah??!?
3) plus they stayed in a position where Ruri is on top of Tsukuyomi for quite a long time...
4) so many hints for RurixTsu I'm fucking dead
Erhm. Anyway. This chapter doesn't really answer anything, but there are so many details and hints that just make you hypothesize.
I have a few theories, based on the details of this chapter.
- The part where Rurikawa explains that one's soulmate or "fate" isn't limited to one person. It really makes me think of one thing that really won't leave my mind. Like implied by the covers, what if Tsukuyomi, Rurikawa, and Kyougokuin were all bound to each other by fate? I'm not very sure about Kyougokuin, but for Ruri and Tsu I have a few reasons why I thought of this: 1) Come On. That scene in this chapter that just killed me. Rurikawa saying scripted lines that what if he and Tsukuyomi weren't just childhood friends, but each other's "fate". It was probably just some fanservice (which, I admit, I was really baited with) but it was like... The highlight of this chap so idk... 2) Tsukuyomi going into heat for the first time because he was hit by pheromones from Rurikawa 3) remember that scene in the bathhouse with Kyougokuin? He told Tsukuyomi to “Try to remember.” and “The one who’s tied to him in destiny is you.” I’m pretty sure Kyougokuin knows something, but what? And in that chapter some weird things happened between him and Tsukuyomi, but I’m not sure what it exactly was.
- What if Tsukuyomi is actually a "rare species"??? Like this thought made me myself had a "holy shit" moment. I just... I'm not sure, and correct me if I'm wrong in stating some things, but I'm just. omg. Again, reasons why: 1) Like I stated in the summary, rare species have an abnormally long lifespan. And we can see in the picture of younger Tsu and Ruri that Tsu had a bigger body when they’re supposed to be around the same age. 2) Tsukuyomi being able to have his own eggs when he’s supposed to be a male alpha. 3) The fact that he matured late, seen by the fact that his heat came late
- AAAND the highlight (for me) because I'm in deep shipping Rurikawa and Tsukuyomi... (I'm just a sucker for childhood friends trope. aaaaa) What if Tsukuyomi likes Rurikawa? Idk man the hints are everywhere and you'd have to be so strong to resist the urge to ship them (jk I'm just easy). 1) the fact that Tsukuyomi wants to stay by Rurikawa's side and tried whatever he could to be able to do so. 2) the fact that he was lonely that Ruri was cold to him, as well as that he was sad because there was a side of Ruri that he didn't know. 3) seeing him with their sensei made him run away in shock 4) yeah. of course I’m mentioning it again. him being affected by Ruri's pheromones and going into heat for the first time. 5) the fact that he felt a sting in his chest after Rurikawa told him he'd stay with him until he finds a decent partner to make kids with.
Soo that’s it. Sorry for being messy as always. (And it’s so long…) Please do tell me what you think! ;v;

btw, I edited the two pages that just killed me in this chapter:

your summaries are the best! i had no clue what was happening in chapter 7 so thank you very much!
I'm thinking that snake-kun is a super alpha or something which makes him a rare species. wolf-kun even said the pheromones released in chapter 4 were ABOVE an alpha's but had no idea that snake-kun released them. also, i mean, bunny-kun said he ended up enrolling into the school because of the scent.
i really want snake-kun and wolf-kun to be together but above all i just want snake-kun to be happy!

I read the raws before the translations were out, and I reread it just now. I still really like this manga because it's just so pure and so adorable. And I really like how their relationship progressed and developed. I just wish we could've seen more of them when Shiraishi was in his third year though ╥﹏╥
I just really like Munechika because he stands out from most of the (especially alpha) semes we have in a lot of manga. Some can't wait to even confirm if their partner likes them and then make the omega/uke their mate immediately.
I can say that his decision was a bit selfish on his part, but you can see how he's uneasy - they've been childhood friends for so long and he doesn't know if Kanade is really into him or if he's just convenient.
The two of them haven't made their feelings clear to each other, that's why both of them are uneasy.
Still, we can see clearly that Munechika treats Kanade unlike others, with the way he's overprotective of him. (his friends in college even point it out) so if anything he's the one that somehow expressed his feelings in a way.
Anyway, what they really need is that second shot at talking with each other but I bet there's some (hopefully not too dramatic) drama that'll happen before then.
