To anyone who thinks Sunwoo is dumb no he’s not. TT. He’s just normal. He was super wary and had his guard up until Sion smiled at him genuinely when they were studying together the first time. Any rational human being would be touched by a genuine smile. Plus my bro craves human connection, he didn’t need a reason beyond that. He chose to ignore Sion’s shadiness because of that vulnerable, raw, and very real moment they shared. And he wasn’t wrong. It was a real smile. Also he’s a normal person. He’s not aware that every person is trash and that as the MC he has the worst luck in that he keeps being surrounded by trash.

He knew Sion was bullying, he knew what the group was like, and yet he didn't think twice about joining the oppressive side.
For someone who knows what it's like to be bullied, this was cruel of him.
Many people warned him, and Sion's behavior from the beginning was strange.
He's stupid, yes, and he makes a lot of stupid mistakes, but he'll improve.
Gosh it’s so satisfying to see how MC doesn’t take shit from others. Like when he grabbed his collar and said ML didn’t get to make dictate his relationships or now when he’s full on confronting him. I knew ML was full of bull yet, just like Sunwoo, I let me guard down. I somehow let myself feel betrayed TT.
I do think ML likes him somewhere deep down in that rotten heart of his. The amount of effort he took to get him to sleep with him was astronomical. Even if he’s the obsessive crazy type that’s still too much effort! Plus he mentioned to the bully he wanted to see MC cry but when MC cried, ML literally admitted he didn’t like that and preferred him smiling.
I hope ML suffers pain like no other when he loses Sunwoo. I hope to see him suffer in university too! (The way this is going there’s definitely going to be a uni arc)
This explains a lot. To JJK he’s normalized physical violence so much that he’s desensitized to it and probably believes he does not abuse others, because his abuse is less violent than his father’s. But he fails to see that his behavior towards others is violent and wrong. He manhandles and menaces others physically. Like sure he’s never beaten Dan to a pulp but he grabs his body in a way that makes Dan feel like JJK could physically do whatever he wants with it. To which JJK does. This feeling of physical powerlessness is the same thing JJK probably felt as a child with his father. Oftentimes the abused person/child will promise they won’t be the same as their abuser and think that they are doing much better than their abuser but they still become an abuser. They can’t see even that their violence -which is way less apparent than their abuser’s- is STILL wrong even in small doses. Like sure JJK won’t hit a child but he’ll be physically menacing towards a grown man.
Humans are very adaptable and really do normalize bad behavior to a point they believe they are good simply because their bad behavior is “better” compared to other “worse” behavior. For example, people who grew up spanked for discipline (albeit once in a while) might find that acceptable but others who have never been spanked or yelled at by their parents would be stunned to hear that their friends were spanked.
Ok so blondie is creepy for me and I don’t like him for being a creepy stalker who killed Brian, eagerly waited for his reincarnation, and then groomed Ian. But him kissing Ian made me excited. I’m so psyched for the drama coming up! Also I just want to see Blondie try really hard at getting Ian to love him. And then being heartbroken and then going crazy.
