Uhhhh the prince is kinda weird but honestly considered he only kissed him on the wrist (icky) whereas the Duke literally full on assaulted him is so gross therefore I’m on team Prince. We all know it’s going to be one of them and I choose the lesser evil. Also yes! Even though prince is so obsessed and weird he still didn’t rape him even tho he saw those marks. He has a limit thank god

BUT if we are being super duper hopeful it could be the Male lead whose wife (the main lead) just died of old age. And she wrote him a letter. Anyhow I really hope it’s this kind of happy scenario. Ok so the title of this Manga is called firefly wedding. In Japan, fireflies are commonly used as a symbol of war or love. Which could suggest that she chooses to marry out of love. But also due to a lot of western art and literature going around the world it could also have the western meaning of fireflies. Fireflies in the west are often a symbol the impermanence of life. Showing how fleeting their marriage might be. Anyhow I really hope it’s not the latter! I’m going to cry so much when this ends
it’s one thing to reject his gift but it’s another to go out of your way to be that disrespectful and unkind.
I’m sorry but the romance is too dark for me. By dark I mean it isn’t a cliche happy ending. I prefer the revenge plot in which the MC take back his throne after getting killed. it is going to be pretty epic when he shows up to claim his throne!
Ok I wasn’t rooting for Swan at all but I have to say that his backstory is the best! I definitely ship them so hard now. It would be too tragic is he isn’t the OG mail lead (apparently there are separate endings)
