I'm really interested what starts a perfect recipe for pancakes.

if im not lazy and actually make it from scratch, I do
1 cup of milk
1 and 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2-3 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Dayum, that sounds really good! I'm not normally one for pancakes, if I'm going to have something like that I usually make home-made Belgian Waffles:
1 cup of flour
1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of oil
1 egg separated

1) Mix the dry ingredients together and make a well in the centre
2) Pour the egg YOLK and other wet ingredients into the well and mix it together (adding 1/2 the milk at first and then gradually adding more as you mix)
3) Mix the egg WHITE in a different bowl until stiff, and then gently fold the resulting foam into the rest of the batter with a spatula.

It sounds complicated, but actually only takes me about 10 minutes to make and is SUPER yummy ;)

All she's ever said was that it was weird

that's bc she doesn't wanna hurt his feelings, she literally thought "I should let it slide bc he's been through sm already" multiple times in this chapter alone and shes stated that she doesn't see him as a man. having the attention of a dude you don't see as a prospect is really uncomfortable but she loves him too much to reject him. im not trying to vilify him for acting the way he does, im just saying it's where it's at and he needs to work on it. no offense, as I don't mean you in specific, but a lot of people have this bad habit of allowing a handsome male character to get away with so much just bc of his looks or a sad past. it doesn't sit well with me personally and I will call out said characters even if i like them. it's a matter of acknowledging a wrong and wanting development for that character rather than allowing a grave flaw to perpetuate on the grounds of excuses that could serve as catalysts for positive character change.

Unfortunately that's not what's going on here. As another poster already pointed out before this comment of yours. No one's defending him because he's 'handsome'. or has a 'sad past' (well, not directly. I mean, they're not saying his sad past should automatically render him forgiven. They're saying his 'sad past' explains how his actions are not deliberate. Which is why those jerk MLs you mentioned should not be defended - even though they are. Their actions are deliberate,. Iow, there is a disconnect between their 'sad past' and their actions). He's socially awkward, after all. And I get that she doesn't want to hurt his feelings but she shouldn't then blame him for being obtuse. Especially when she's just as obtuse. He's already dropped so many freaking hints that he's in love with her but she doesn't even consider the prospect in her head and then reject it. Especially since she really wants to avoid the bad ending with the heroine of the original novel and having him fall in love with someone else could be one way to do it. Even if she ended up believing it was unlikely for it to happen with her. And the reason I'm calling this out is because I think this obtuseness is deliberate on her part. After all, she saw through Lorenzo but she can't see through Alejandro? I doubt that. Very much. And being deliberately obtuse while blaming someone for being 'accidentally' obtuse is sucky.

I wasn't clear so I apologize, I don't mean him specifically I mean people in general. I sometimes get off-topic in explanations. I get his situation and the fact that he's not particularly socially inclined. my issue is that shes asked him to stop and he hasnt. but she does in fact brush off his behavior and I don't think I'll change my mind on that one but again, im not trying to vilify his character I'm pointing out an issue I have. and I agree, I know that she is very dense there's no denying that but I think her being so blind to his feelings is because she believes that there's no chance or that he predestined for someone else. I don't really understand how she can comprehend the fact that key elements of the story have changed and yet not realize that he fell in love with that original girl due to the fact that she did what ibee had just done. Lastly, I know not everyone will agree with my opinion and that's totally fine but im going to stand by what I said, he needs some development and his over fondness doesn't sit well with me. I understand the fact that there are other factors in play but these are the feelings I have from the last chapters. obviously, in a few chapters, he will have aged up, grow as a person, and stop trying to monopolize her (which I understand is because she was the only one there for him and wants to make sure he doesn't lose her, etc) but his current state is not exactly my cup of tea, which again I understand I because he missed out on a childhood.

In my eyes he's still a child he may be big and handsome now but still a child I think that's how the fl sees him to at least partially
I also think the fl knows that he likes her but believes that will all go away when he meets the other girl so she's pretending not to see it I think she is more to blame in this situation because she refuses to make anything clear to him because she still hopes it will somehow work out remember she was isekaied so she's much older than he is

that's a good point and I agree, but I don't think she knows he likes her despite the hits he's been constantly dropping.
