I read chapter 2. She dumb? He proposed to her. Went on his knees, kissed her hand and vowed the vows of marriage proposal to her. And she doesn't even have an inch of a suspicion? I get it if people have suspicion and write it off cause they lack the evidence so they don't want to believe it before they truly know know. I am like that, too. Learned the hard way as well. But like....???ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I dont think you have ever been in the situation where it's hard to even belive that someone who is so capable, supporting and overall amazing is into you like that....and also the self doubt if you are even worthy of such a thing....so being friends is the max your relation ship can go with them....it's not just the fact that this character is an airhead but also the fact that this character also has very low opinion of herself....she literally thought that no one would be sad to see her die...that's how low she thought her value was not because she was treated so no but because she couldn't see it herself. And honestly noone outright said it....and with people like her you need to outright say it....
For reference I am someone like her...not to that degree but I do understand.

cause the chapter 39 makes no sense. Why tf did the maid just go and admit "I stole your paintings to throw them away, but then sold them and now my mom told the priests it was you who made them for money." wow...i expected them to find out, but like this? so dumb. Suddenly some random maid...like wut

and I want to know: Does Esther ever tell them she is a reincarnator?

I don't really remember and couldn't really counts the actual manhwa chapter from the novel, but right now the manhwa is nearing the time where MC will try to meet the saintess through her painting thing. IIRC it won't be too long before.....
Spoiler
The saintess found out how rotten that blonde bitch is, died, and the prophecy kinda showing that she is not the saintess. Which IIRC is around the time she reveals everything to her family.
Notes, I read this quite a long time ago (around 8 month ago?) So I might remeber things wrong

why he is forced to remain married with that woman? He is a duke, no? So why can he not divorce her in a world where divorce seems to exist. Why is it something he has to get her to do? Is it because of reputation? I am so confused.
And I also feel a bit icky. Because she said she died at 20. So how old was she for fucks sake when they did it for the first time? How old was he? She is the same age now. So how old is this? I pray she was at least 18. Even if she is 18 won't make it better, if he is above 21. Urgh. Why can the author not make her 21? And him 27 or something. Would be much more ok and acceptable, than someone under 21 with someone above 21....hhhhh

Responding only to the first para - its like a johnny depp and amber heard situation, you won't know who's the wrong and who's the right until there is concrete evidence against the next for foul play. Thus he can't divorce her or she'd be the "pitiful woman" and him the evil that no one wants to associate with because "how could he do that to his wife"

I think it's for a more legal based reason. I don't think he technically *can* divorce Elysee. I don't know if it's the lasting will of his father/grandfather OR the marriage/divorce laws of the time.
He really doesn't give a fudge what people think of him and he's the equivalent of a billionaire....
but the translation is seriously fucking with my brain. Even the "better quality"....urghhhh. Am at chapter 17. Does the translation get any better? (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Well.. it gets manageable at some point. But I’m not sure if the translation gets better or I just got used to it..
There’s a better translation up to chapter 40 on bato to. It’s the official translation. By chapter 41, the translations have become understandable here so you should be fine lol
lol it doesn't get that better but i just got used to it since its cute
