When people say these lines about "God's will" all I wanna do is say stuff like:
"Wow, did he call you? What else did he say?"
or
"Wow, so he called you, too. To me he said, he gave us free will, so we should stop making him responsible for everything we want to do and grow up."
or just simply
"Wow, how do you know? Did he say that to you himself?"
Like come on. So idiotic, when a mere human talks about god's will. How do you know? It is just a mere hypothesis of you based on your interpretation of the whatever religious texts and teachings you received and believe in that were all produced by other humans before you. How can anyone that says they believe in God be so audacious and arrogant about thinking they could EVER understand the CREATOR OF EVERYTHING? (like they believe he is) How can a mere tiny human, or even as a bunch together, ever think to be confidently supporting crap like this? So annoying.

As if the whole world revolves around 3 people, just because the novel you read just focused on them. But that is how reality is. To you some people seem like the whole focus of the world, but there is unimaginable counts of things going on everywhere at second of the day. Why do you think it has something to do with you? She acts like, if someone poops in a wrong moment than in that book, it is her fault or something. The heck is with this way of making characters overestimate themselves and have like zero general knowledge (from earth) and zero common sense, objectivity, matureness? A human sure can be traumatised and mentally a bit irked from being in such a situation suddenly, but not like this. That book was one variable. But the factor changed to make that happen. So now this is a completely new reality. Sure it is wise to take info from that "possible future" you saw in that book. But why would you still after all this time treat it like it is an absolute unquestionable rule? She was not some religious fanatic on earth, so she should not become so obsessed like this based on her usual show of personality. She is fixed on one line, while all around her she is missing endless possible lines. It would make sense in the beginning, but she lived there for years. Ah anyway. I hope this will get good again. Everyone annoys me so much right now....not all is bad, just some stuff seems so out of place
I feel the same, but i think she's just scared of the consequences of changing the flow of the story. Probably in her past life, she read stories where the transmigrator changed the story and it got worse. There's always a possibility of a butterfly effect.

Yeah I agree with your hot take on being in your 30s but I wanna point out that society as a whole pushed being in your 20s as being your prime. With a hyper focus of being in your early 20s. Which seems silly cause if you decided to pursue higher education, then that's where the bulk of your early 20s would be.

It is actually "anoint" because the setting is in historical age. So, its kinda like a traditional/religious ceremonial to formalize someone status to a higher rank....
Another example to use this word is:
"The emperor has anointed the new high priest".

It's also can be applied to object, example:
"Kuna Indians anoint the tips of their arrows with poison".
^^ super right. You see the word used often in history books and some religious texts (ie. Roman catholic). Its just used sparingly in everyday conversation though so some may not be used to it.

Thats a great habit to have! English was my third language, but for the past 14 years its the main language I've spoken. Finding the definition of words when I found an unfamiliar one really helped me learn the language quicker. Also for someone who's not a native speaker you're realllly good :)
wow. i still hate this word though. i did look it up, as i was confused to never have encountered such a word before and it sounded like a mistake, but who knows, so i looked it up. and i get the german meaning. it is similar to "being balmed"....but it was so weird. it sounds anticlimatic. they do not talk in old english, or in verses or in any way highly formal....so it seems out of place to me. thank you for your explanation. but i still feel like reading that word over and over was an eyesore....ew

i read so much...be it asian stuff or european/american....manga and novels...but never read this word before....even in my academic books (yet).....that is why this sounded so alien to me and made me almost mad to see over and over again hahaha...because the way i read it it sounded so fucking annoying in my headvoice
