God I love how complex the characters are in this, like bro the way the author crafts their dynamic between the three is so interesting. I'm kinda surprised at how so many people don't really like their dynamic, but I find it fitting in how it humanizes them. They aren't perfect their people. Really refreshing cause of many BLs always have to have perfectly crafted people but these characters aren't.

Same I assumed the ML was like a bad kinda guy and MC hated him but he willingly kissing ML now. Idk the pacing kinda weird but they both hot ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
iirc it started with mc catching ml drinking at work all the time. putting alcohol in his coffee to hide it. which mc leaked at a drinking party while drunk and ml “punished him” and took a video to use as blackmail (i think the video was him peeing with a collar on? i could be remembering wrong). mc hated him and did everything he could to completely get lol rid of the video. now, mc is slowly sorta catching feelings, theyre not completely there but deep down he feels it. mc mentions he hates how ml smokes and drinks so much and so ml is trying to get better and even went to a rehab center. as of rn, ml collapsed, probably due to the lack of sleep from withdrawal, and is seen with a cigarette, showing hes relapsed. i hope this helps, i tried remembering as best i could
