Even if she didnt care about each other she knew the FL wasn’t just some stranger. She was her sister, and even if they weren’t close, that should’ve meant something. In the current timeline even though there not close it was obvious that the word "sister" meant a lot to them.

I totally agree with you. They did not have that kind of bond, so whats the point of putting her in prison, or exiling her. That would just prolong her agony. Not to mention, the FL thought her sister wanted to kill her in the first timeline.

They had no bond in the last life because Calista was busy at either ignoring her or trying to kill her, while Harper was busy trying to survive. Harper was only born to try and stop Calista from taking over the duchy, but with no real power or support, Harper is no real threat. It wasn’t like she was rude or anything to Calista, if Harper acted like all the other evil manhwa sisters, then I get why Calista tried to kill but no sharper was just an innocent victim.
Also there’s no real redemption for Calista since she won’t feel any remorse for her behaviour towards Harper. Since Harper was brought back to before Calista made any attempts on Harper’s life, the only thing Calista can really feel remorse for is her ignoring Harper.

By the way, every time she tries to kill herself, ML is usually the one saving her. However, she always survives. ML knows that all of this happened because of him. She doesn’t have to die; she has to live, and she doesn’t have to forgive him
