Honestly, I'm disappointed in Ari, but at the same time, I feel sad for her. She sees him as her first love and cares for him deeply. Going back to him shows how her anxiety and insecurities cloud her judgment. She probably sees the signs but chooses to ignore them. I find it uncomfortable that the MC keeps pairing up the kids together when there’s no real chemistry between them yet. The kids are preoccupied with other things, so it feels forced. Additionally, when the MC insists that they need to get married, it feels like being pushed into a marriage arrangement, which makes me super uncomfortable. Like there being sold off. If my mom told me i needed to marry this guy i feel like im being sold off but that’s just my take on it.
It just make sense if MC is insisting coz first, he is not really Hyeol's parent and for now he only sees them as characters of his sister's novel and second he feels a certain responsibility to keep things in order as originally was in her sister's novel.

this is what turn me off about the ml too. the obvious gap in power dynamics between them. even before i got to know ml's manipulation/spy past, I'm sad that the mc behaves so childlike as caused by his trauma and knowing mc's situation, ml takimg advantage of this made it worse. no matter what ppl say mc has the the fluffs will not erase ml's redflags. will always be an ick if a child is being manipulated by an older person
