Bruh their love story in high school was so good. Like, it wasn’t the absolute best, but it was definitely better than the one they have now. I lowkey wish that was the original plot, just with a few things changed so those two could’ve actually ended up together back then.
The doctor observes that she has aphasia due to the sudden, emotionally turbulent series of events that had taken place. ML tries to feed her soup a couple of times, and she throws it back in his face each time.
His face burns slightly from being doused in the hot liquid, and he smiles meekly. FL thinks that now even his smiling face is disgusting. ML moves FL to the detached palace because he knew she didn't love him anymore. The ML had lost a lot of weight in proportion to his tall body at this point. He was thin and extremely stressed. He would visit her, and when he did, she told him that she never really loved him. It was obsession and possessiveness.
The fiancée was executed with another person and was cleanly cut in two strokes. FL is at the execution hall but chooses to watch it from afar, thinking to herself that though the fiancée is dead, her death does not bring her dead daughter back. If anything, she considers ML to be an accomplice in her daughter's death, yet he’s the one watching over the fiancée's execution.
So, a short summary for the ending: FL tries to kill ML but fails and then questions if this is love because she couldn't kill him, so she tries to kill herself in front of him. Then FL attempts suicide again and again, even trying to poison herself. She tells the ML that she wants to eat with him and then drinks the poisoned drink, and ML tries to save her again. By the way, every time she tries to kill herself, ML is usually the one saving her. However, she always survives. ML knows that all of this happened because of him. She doesn’t have to die; she has to live, and she doesn’t have to forgive him
