ANY COMMON SENSE that he was kidnapped??? it was literally just 4 chapters of Nakyum getting assaulted.. I need some character development, some communication.. SOMETHING. I do not get what this recent chapter meant when the princess said that Shuli "revealed what happened in the bedroom to divorce"? I don't understand what Shuli did LOL I thought she was aiming that the marriage was never valid in the first place?
She did. By claiming she and the duke(?)(I think it was duke) were in it as a “contract”, and that they were never in it to create babes (so no bedroom) it proves the marriage was not valid. (Bc old history states if you aren’t there to make babes, then you’re not married) If it’s not valid, she can receive a divorce, making her no longer the duchess. And if that’s so, then Jeremy can be saved because he would be the successor to the household. (And you can’t just kill or imprison the soon to be successor right?) I think... But I’m sure about the marriage contract thing.

Technically, the term is marriage annulment, not divorce, and I believe it is still part of the Roman Catholic doctrine to this day. If it can be proven that there was no sexual congress between spouses, then it is as though the marriage never happened. (Of course, civil courts see things differently, and the church has limited, if no actual, sway over most contemporary jurisdictions.) The only part that I would add is that the reason why the Empress screamed at the Papal Enuncio to shut his big mouth and think about what he was yapping about, and then instantly withdrew her suit against Jeremy, was because the Crown Prince was not her son, and from the way the manhwa kept cutting to scenes of the Emperor looking at the portrait of his dead wife, one might infer that her marriage to the Emperor could be annulled for similar reasons. It was best to sweep that card off the table as quickly as possible.

Not really spoilers, though. The character details have already been established that she's the second Empress, and the late first Empress, the one whose portrait looks so much like Shuli, was the Crown Prince's mother. It has also been established that she spends most of her time in seclusion, and has minimal contact with the Emperor, appearing with him only at formal ceremonial events, which implies that they do not have a warm and loving relationship. The Crown Prince does not appear to have any other siblings, nor does there appear to be another heir to the throne. Perhaps, that might change as future plot points present themselves, but the Crown Prince's attraction to Shuli, and peripherally, his attentions to Jeremy, seem mainly to be based more in loneliness and the longing for a warm family. The way the Second Empress attacked the Vatican's representative when he doubled-down against the annulment was very suspicious, and there was enough danger in that situation for her that she was willing to toss away her own suit. So there's definitely a covert agenda there. What could it be for a woman whose power is at the whim of the Emperor and the Church? Does she want to annul her own marriage at some point in the future, or does she wish to eliminate consideration of it as a possible threat wielded by the Emperor against her own political movements? If the Emperor can annul their marriage on a whim, that would be a severe restriction over her power.
I just wanna see wat happens to King Light. all the characters are selfish.. the FL here is unlikeable and dull. She really feels like a side character to me lol and once again waiting for someone to save her... did not contribute anything to history or used knowledge of the future to help anyway..

This had a lot of potential.. but was executed very poorly.
The drawings are nice but the plot was flimsy and too confusing. wished there was more emphasis on the skills she gained while she was a 40 year old.. but it was not used at all.

idk the direction of the story isnt it. the red haired guy is the one im rooting for but theres no point if she goes back to the blue haired guy. i wont ever get over the abuse she had to endure even if it was in a different timeline. even if he "changed" he should just let her go and let her have peace.
I completly agree unfortunatly this story is strait up about forgiving your abuser. Its not about if hes the same or not she still has memories and yet still falls for him cause of some sugar coated words. And dont get me started on the fact that he was jaolous of her his entire childhood and when she didnt want to marry him than he got interested. he pestered her and its disgusting and if this wasnt a webtoon that already set the love interest to her murderer in reality Tia would be disgusted and most likely have a panic atack especially after he asked her y dont you want to marry me. He even sent her a gift with her as a queen, what a manipulative bastard, Im sure she will be very happy to be back in the position of being in hell
