They've broken up and gotten back together again and again for years, Ugetsu (the violinist) would have other partners and Akihiko (the drummer) as well, they were hurting each other because they couldn't let go. Aki was obsessed with Ugetsu's music, with his sensibility and Ugetsu liked that Aki was able to put up with all that. But that it's not healthy. I guess that's why Haruki was viewed as "the saviour". He was simply there when needed and never asked for anything in return

It is impossible for Haesoo to end up with Joowon, it makes no sense because it is noted that the main storyline will unfold about Taku's mysteries, Haesoo's changes and Joowon's regrets. It is like the previous story of the same author.
