Fan Translations can be sometimes bad but what actually irritates me is the watermark part because it's huge and it's literally on the art.
I'm grateful for the translations but absolutely angry because of the huge watermark every 3 panel ON THE ART.

I think watermarks ON ART ruins reading experience so I think you don't care about the art? Do you? If you've cared you would be pissed by the watermark too.

I really feel you with the watermarks … if I were a good translator/cleaner, I wouldn’t dare to „claim“ any kind of art as mine - I would put one at the end and beginning which is totally fine (I know they don’t mean to claim the art, but the translations). But directly on any page, even if it’s a blank one just feels so wrong though I don’t judge any people who put small ones on the page. I understand that!

The big one kinda put me off as well! I wouldn’t have worded it like you haha but I understand your anger. I’m thankful for any person who tried to translate and give us content to read, but me personally, I just wouldn’t “butcher” a webtoon like this.

Many scans team "claim" their translations in a "civilised" way, by putting it in start, end and sometimes even middle..
I genuinely don't hate the translator..
I just feel its "too much" to put watermarks.. I'm a cleaner of a scan team myself... But truly my scan or in fact any of the scans I know ever put watermarks in their works.. Only ppl who half-*ss things do such bs.. But whatever..
I really don't hate the translator, just hate their attitude towards readers.. Also the fact that their translation is not "that" good only adds fuel to my fire.. They act like some sort of amazing translator.. But this a 2023 post why am I getting so p*ssed.. I'm normally not like this.. It's because I'm starving.. Bye stranger.

many translators/translator groups put watermark over the art nowadays cuz people will go and steal it and put it on tiktok and whatnot. And if the watermark is in a place where you can erase it, they will. Uploading to tiktok and ig and I don’t know where is a bit of a problem because then the names of sites like mangago and bato is spread around and its making the risk of shutting them down higher. So when you have a watermark over the art, its less likely that it will get shared.

(and i know the ethics are bit warped here since its stolen from the original author, but this keeps it from spreading)

Yes, I agree with you but it just felt too frequent, too large (literally covered the art on multiple occasions) and too unnecessary too because the translation wasn't good, the cleaning did not exist and are there even proofreaders? No.
Honestly I understand everyone's pov about me bftching about someone's hardwork but they (uploader) DON'T have any right to ruin the story or manhua. In the first place if reading something is made difficult by the person who distributed this, I think they shouldn't in the first place. There are tons of other scans groups. But since these ppl have picked this up, no other group will be able to pick it as it goes against ethics of a scans group. And there's only 1 chapter yet so you can easily understand why I'm mad
