If this is going where I think it is, it will be If Kengan association has to put up a fighter against the connector who else could they call other than Beard Daddy? I do wonder though who the other Connector is. Also, I see a logical flaw with the Worm. If they are there purely to rein in or stop the connector then it doesn’t make any sense for them to try and help the connector try and clone himself and switch his mind UNLESS the Connector is there to stop something even worse so they have to keep him around

Am I the only one who felt let down by the Apollo/Leonidas fight? I felt like it was the worst one so far. Hope the next one is better

I think it was rushed, but I really liked Apollo's personality, it was pretty well written
I agree. I liked Apollo, but I thought Leonidas came off as pretty lame. With everyone else there was kind of that “wow” factor when they released their weapon, but I never once really found anything surprising or interesting about his. And I know he has these great warrior instincts supposedly that allowed him to deflect Apollo’s light arrow, but that seemed awkward and out of place to me. He’s basically getting his ass handed to him most of the fight and I don’t ever really see anything I would consider skillful up to that point and now he he can deflect an attack at the speed of light? I find that incredibly hard to believe. I could have bought him blocking, but to deflect he needs to be moving the same speed and he was not moving the speed of light. Seems to me writer picked Leonidas ahead of time, but then when it came to the fight had no idea what to do with him

I would never dare to say such a thing! I’m just saying not a lot novels and entertainment accurately reflect their place in society. I mean I still find Harry Potter offensive. A magical world based in modern times and cats are still only pets? And people in novel don’t like Crockshanks? For shame!

I can’t even decide who I want to win. On the one hand the “Connector” has been being set up for like 500 chapters. On the other hand I love the idea of Bread Daddy just being the slayer of plot armor.

Further thoughts. The only thing I don’t want happening is the fight to be stopped unfinished. The rage I’ll feel at being blue balled so hard by that would be crazy. Also, if Kuroki did win they have already established there is likely more than one connector so mystery guy could take up the mantle of big bad
that it's true that there's another connector but based on how they refer to him, it's a big possibility he is their enemy, considering how indifferent jackie was about ohma but really wanted ryuki. I believe the other connector would be the one that actually defeats jackie. Don't take me wrong, i love beard daddy but it will be kinda of a shitty move to make a force such the connector die from a simple mortal. Not to discredit Kuroki, the man can wipe the floor with everyone in the kengan team, but i feel it would be more suitable for jackie to fall from a power equally paranormal as his.
I don’t think the two connectors are enemies more that they just don’t care about each other like basically every other sudo-reincarnate from the worm. I also find it unlikely that they are enemies because the clones were created by the worm and they were only successful at the single cloning facility that got destroyed. That means both clones were created in The same place by the same people. Additional the Connector sees himself as the strangest and has been shown to want to enjoy fights. Meaning I find it difficult to believe if that if there was an enemy out there that could challenge him he wouldn’t seek them out for the thrill.
Oh not to mention if the other connector was his enemy why not just kill Ryuki as the worm has had multiple chances
