If this is going where I think it is, it will be If Kengan association has to put up a fighter against the connector who else could they call other than Beard Daddy? I do wonder though who the other Connector is. Also, I see a logical flaw with the Worm. If they are there purely to rein in or stop the connector then it doesn’t make any sense for them to try and help the connector try and clone himself and switch his mind UNLESS the Connector is there to stop something even worse so they have to keep him around

Am I the only one who felt let down by the Apollo/Leonidas fight? I felt like it was the worst one so far. Hope the next one is better

I think it was rushed, but I really liked Apollo's personality, it was pretty well written
I agree. I liked Apollo, but I thought Leonidas came off as pretty lame. With everyone else there was kind of that “wow” factor when they released their weapon, but I never once really found anything surprising or interesting about his. And I know he has these great warrior instincts supposedly that allowed him to deflect Apollo’s light arrow, but that seemed awkward and out of place to me. He’s basically getting his ass handed to him most of the fight and I don’t ever really see anything I would consider skillful up to that point and now he he can deflect an attack at the speed of light? I find that incredibly hard to believe. I could have bought him blocking, but to deflect he needs to be moving the same speed and he was not moving the speed of light. Seems to me writer picked Leonidas ahead of time, but then when it came to the fight had no idea what to do with him

I would never dare to say such a thing! I’m just saying not a lot novels and entertainment accurately reflect their place in society. I mean I still find Harry Potter offensive. A magical world based in modern times and cats are still only pets? And people in novel don’t like Crockshanks? For shame!
