People are too hung up on hating Taegu for not protecting him for so long but I actually like this arc.It's realistic, he's a goddamn gangster for fuck's sake and like he said, he's seen worse families,is he supposed to help them all when his job is the thing that keep them at the bottom?You gotta have a hard shell to do that kind of job and after a while you just get used to it and learn to stop caring.Like doctors do.They can't care about every sick patients out there.But anyway,my point is that by learning all this it just makes me love and appreciate Yeongwoon more.People keep saying he's a pushover but really,he's just a nice kid at heart.He's not dumb though.See how he knew how to handle Taegu so that his life could be even a little bit easier.He can handle himself just fine,he just chooses to put others first,sadly for him.But we can see how the way he is affects the people around him.He brings the best out of people,be it Seoin or Taegu.He makes them want to be better.I'm just heartbroken he had to suffer that much and that shit is still happening to him

People switching up on Taegu are SO funny to melike,do you read stories without having a basic understanding of the characters?Of simply of how a normal human is?The guy is a gangster,we knew that from the beginning.And now y'all surprised he isn't an innocent softie?He wasn't a good person to begin with,so it's on you for liking him to begin with.Why y'all mad at him nowCause he didn't protect Yw?PLEASE.As a gangster that's daily occurrence to him,the point of his job is not getting attached,not getting involved.He doesn't care what happens to the people he needs money from.The guy right now works in the entertainment business,and does shady stuff there too.I didn't hear nothing about Taegu when it was shown he was part of the people who kept tabs on Haeyool and basically forced him to sell himself to the sponsor.So what,just cause y'all don't like him as a character what happens to him is irrelevant? Suddenly it's not a bad thing? Taegu was behind that too,and other things tied to his job,but it was silence till now,cause he didn't protect a random kid from his dad who he had to collect debt from....do you see the irony here?It's not the character's fault if y'all weren't able to do 2+2 and understand from the beginning he was a gray character,so don't be disappointed now
Disclaimer I never liked him but was this not the authors intention lol… to further open peoples eyes to what his character is like a little more? I am glad you caught on early (once again from the get go I thought he was sinister LOL) but I think peoples opinions changing after a deeper dive into his character is not that crazy
Maybe,but his character was depicted as a not so good person to begin with.People just liked him cause of his dinamyc with Yw.But if you like a gray character,you should expect for him to do gray things.He did worse than not protecting a kid he didn't know from getting beaten by his dad.He allowed Hae-yool to get sold and beaten from his sponsor cause the company needed that guy to keep sponsoring him,and so to earn them money.And I bet he's not the only one in the industry they do that to.And that happened pretty early on.But that was overlooked cause people don't like Hae-yool as a character.That doesn't make what happened to him right though.And the fact that people read and don't understand that is what irks me.It's like they're reading with sunglasses on and just skimming over the basics without trying to have a deeper understanding of the story and it's characters

I don't really get it so someone correct me if I'm wrong.So,from this chapter we come to know that Emiliano in one of his last lives came to remember his last life with Ines,so he decided to not cross paths with her.But she still came with child(and I don't understand if in this life she wasn't rich and betrothed to the prince but ran away or if she was born as a commoner).And she had to kill her child and herself cause the child was sick.And in this life he had made a fake medal and sold it to that place in El Tabeo so that in case Ines saw it she would know he remembers too?And basically he's telling all this story to convince Carcel to not disappear from her life like he did thinking it would make her life better but in the end destiny still took it's course and it's better for him to be there for her until the end so that he can protect her better?Right???
The lady with the baby was a random woman that triggered a vision of what really happened to Ines. He died first so never got to see it, but he calls the vision a mercy from God. He was ignorant the whole time in this new life. In their life together, he sold the gold chain because they were poor. In this current life, he made a fake pendant to test if Ines remembered anything. He was hoping she hadn't so he could believe eveything he envisioned was fake but she did, confirming she had suffered in their past life. Yes, hes trying to tell Carcel that running off on his own won't guarantee Ines comes to a happy end! He should stay by her side and watch over him, unlike what he was able to do. Thats what I gathered!

What is the author even doing,why does she keeps delaying the inevitable.One thing is a slow burn,another is dragging the story.Like,the chapters are getting shorter by the day,and one thing that could happen in one chapter gets devided into 3.Did we REALLY need half the chapter of him beating up that pervert?
Why are people upset about seeing that Mincheol was a good guy once?It's not to make us like him more,it's to give us insight as to why Na Heeso fell in love with him all those years ago and why she still stayed with him even after he started to treat her like shit.And it's add depths instead of all those stories where we see the villain be the villain since the start.This is reality.People can change overtime and sometimes for the worst, especially if something major in their life happens
