Manhua / Chinese webtoons usually takes a lot of time. If you haven't noticed, some even don't get together yet even with 90+ chapters.

If you can't wait more then I think chinese webtoons are not meant for you. They usually takes time, since they do not only focus on romance. Even here, if you haven't noticed both couple still aren't 100% true with each others. Even the author explained before why it is taking time. There are even other chinese webtoons which takes almost a 100 chapters before they finally got together

If u mean Here U Are, it was really worth the wait! I love this one too and I hope we'll get many more chapters!

Couldn't he just.. Persue him instead of going all stalkish and shit? Like, the wrap of the condom in his trash? That's creepy man

Am i the only one that feels a little embarassed when the good characters begin to make an emotional long ass speech for why they're doing what they're doing in front of the villan of the story? 'Cause sometimes i feel like, they're bad, they're assholes, they don't care that you fell in love or whatever so they're like "why are you telling me all this bullshit?"

I mean yeah but it was a hell of a confession if he was about to die

Why are you reading yaoi then? Most yaoi are cringe

If this was a hero or even a regular person I guess I could agree with you. But in his case it was the first time IN YEARS of abuse where he dared to fight back. It felt to me more like an attempt to set himself free from the hold his boss had on him than a random victory speech. Specially considering that up to that point there was no evidence that he would survive that confrontation.

I guess talking things out with Rui gave him back a little bit of the confidence he had lost during all those horrible years. But he still doesn't feel worthy enough to "impose" on others by asking for help and he didn't want to put Rui in danger. So he went on his own to confront his abuser, even though he had 99,9999...% of certainty that he wasn't gonna walk out of there alive. But it was something he felt he had to do.

Are random speeches about how bad guys never win and how love/friendship conquers it all cringy and corny? Yes. Does the bad guy cares? No. But who cares? If you're going to die anyway, might as well say whatever you want to say. Will the bad guys look back and laugh at how lame you were as they get rid of your body? Probably. But if it made you feel a little better before you died, then isn't it fine?

In Natori's case - and in most protagonist's cases, let's be honest - he didn't actually die. We can't kill our main character that easily, right? Will he regret that speech? No, certainly not. Unlike the usual airheaded MC, Natori wasn't making a speech about his beliefs or his goals. I dare to say it was his first step towards freedom. I don't know if you ever have been in an abusive relationship of any kind (I hope not), but let me tell you this: finally having the strength to talk back to your aggressor, and doing that while aware that you are right, feels really fucking good. And it's a necessary step towards healing. In therapy, in cases where you can't confront your aggressor for any reason, they usually tell you to write a letter or to do a little role-play as if you were. Because putting those thoughts out there is an important part of processing the shit you have been through.

So long story short, because of Natori's back story I can't agree with you that that speech was unnecessary.

Wow,i really appreciate you taking your time to write thisbut anyway, i didn't say it was unnecessary,i just found it a little cringey but that's me,sometimes i have the emotional range of an ostrich so there's thatbut anyway,i didn't see it that way before so thank you for the enlightenment

ahahah I just skipped it, it was too much for me. I get what they were gunna say, so it doesn't really make a difference.

Sofia April 21, 2020 1:21 pm

Who can blame them? Even i fell for shiru

Sofia April 20, 2020 6:49 pm

I can't believe we didn't even get a kiss...

I really hope that at the end Cavo can become human. Not 'cause he looks delicious(even if he does) but' cause i want them to live a happy life, with Cavo being able to travel with Liam without having to hide,so that he can see and experience all the thing that he wasn't able to see before

Oh god i just started to read this today and i love it! It's just my kind of story. Not too much angst(i don't like sad things),the fluff is just to die for,the sex is good and the characters are sooo good! I mean, finally a believable love story! They didn't suddenly fall head over heels for each other and the progress made it all so much cuter! And i don't know man, i just love Soohwa. I've read so many comments praising Yohan, and i understand, he's a cutie, but Soohwa doesn't get enough credit! The guy has guts! He defied that psycho instead of sitting around trembling and waiting for the seme to come around and save his ass. I like his sense of humor too,and the kid knows his stuff, got good morals, takes the initiative sometimes, knows when to not intrude, know when he's wrong. He's like, one of the best uke I've ever read so far! And honestly, it's pretty damn hard to find them so with so much personality, coming from someone that knows her way around yaoi. I could say I'm a veteran by nowanyway,Soohwa deserves more love and that's the tea!

    BALDJUSTIN April 18, 2020 2:20 am

Thats sooo true i think hes one of the only ukes that actually has a personality

omg, I agree with you. It's rare to find a uke like Soohwa. 'Coz almost all the ukes on every story is hostile, weak (but not all) and pretty much always misunderstood things
