also watch me straight up cry at the "why's it so hard to hate someone perfectly" re. parents becuz as an asian it hits so hard. the disappointment and hate sometimes isn't as deep as the regret over still treasuring good memories and contending over the fact that they would weaponise these feelings if they knew of them.
lmao projection over

honestly I'm treating this as a straight up pure comedy instead of a romcom bl because it's too funny and also bc ml constantly makes me want to strangle him and fear for elliots life not in the way of "damn this top is going to confine and kill the bottom" but in the way of "damn this man's paranoia makes him lose all his brain cells free elliot and give him a million dollars per week for emotional compensation please". honestly at this point I just want elliot to have the vacation of his life and travel the world and live in luxury for the rest of his life and be freed from the shackles of employment more than I want the romance LMFAO

this is so amazing they're literally so healthy I'm crying so hard. the way Andrew prioritises luke's happiness and goals over his own protectiveness and need is beautiful—he's so considerate thinking about whether the net cost of him reporting Bruno. I think truly in that situation it's really complicated and hard to determine what's right or wrong, would Luke be happy if his months of effort along with his friends' effort get tanked but would it be better if he's safe from a threat he didn't know about prior to it being eliminated? I truly am in twisted knots for how the escalation is going to happen and I hope Andrew quickly resolves it because it's just not going to be fun for Luke and all his classmates/friends.
oh and this manhwa feels so special to me because it's just so queer,, luke's exploration of his bisexuality just feels so natural and free and it's just ugh I can't express it aptly at this moment.
coming back to reread this masterpiece and ugh, I seriously admire this author as a writer—their characters are so well written and have so much depth and vividness, even if it's just a minor character or a side character they all feel so full of life. not to mention how nothing feels wasteful, every story beat every clue every piece of dialogue is so deliberately placed that the mystery works so well and more importantly when we unravel the tangled up threads along with the characters we similarly feel the same pain and emotions they go through. I just love how taekin has such strong narrative presence and how subverting us and heechan's expectations is instrumental to knowing about him but also growing as people. like urgh I feel so ogre can't identify remorse of consciousness in ulysses right now but like this is such a brilliant story. it really makes me appreciate the medium of art as a vital core to human life
