Like I get that the MC is misunderstanding him bc he sucks at communication but the original villain who only wanted her father's love would have interpreted it as love right??? Esp since she was so desperate to get his attention.

Okay this is actually pretty good and differrnt from the usual shoujo falls in love with the emperor. I especially liked the art style used in 22 when telling the emperor's story it. Its not pure fluffy romance and actually feels like an actual knoght adevnture story. I still am not behind the emperor or the captain or even the blonde dude for ML tho but im looking forward to the rest!
