Jaehyuk you dumbass *Spoiler* . . . . . . Apparently he used up the money they saved for his future*wedding* as a security deposit for the apartment. it's in future chapters.
Didn't make sense until I realized that in SK sometimes they require a deposit of 40%-60% of the property's value wtf.
isnt he rich or like didnt he sell his expensive watch to his friend so can have deposit??? jinbari
essentially he got his credit card/money privileges taken away after his family caught him with his childhood friend so he had to get money somehow for the apartment deposit (his parents only cover his like everyday essentials expenses like food, dorm, and school but anything like personal expenses, they won’t pay for it) which lead to him selling his watch because his parents wouldn’t be able to get notified about it. But i’m assuming that the watch wasn’t enough so he had to take money out from his savings account (even though he’s technically not supposed to). in his brain he thought “well this is a savings account for my future wedding expenses, it’s my money anyways so i’m gonna spend it.” and he got caught lol

His reasoning is that he'll get that money back once his lease ends.
But his mom had enough of his irresponsible-ness.
TBH Jaehyuk better start pulling his own weight soon. But I like how flawed he is and that makes room for him to grow.
But still makes you wonder how he turned out that way when his folks look like good people.
Maybe he fell into the wrong crowd while they were busy with the business?

I mean I think he also like “this is future investment so that THERE WILL BE A WEDDING IN THE FIRST PLACE” Because let’s be real, if our ML didn’t realize his bisexual spirit he would be still be a massive playboy. I don’t see him as a type to get married as he was before he met our MC. (Like, ML is NOT a cheater. Considering early chapters and the conditions between them as sex partners, but he also isn’t the type to hold relationships for long) MC is the first person he tried to actually WIN OVER and stuff, and he willing to commit to this relationship.
TLDR: the relationship with MC that ML has rn is his first REAL RELATIONSHIP where he willing to commit to it fully. So he might see renting the apartment as a future investment for a wedding.
I think this story could've been better with proper pacing and some fight scenes here and there. It's only 10 chapters but can maybe be fully fleshed out in 30-40. It's like the author only drew the interesting bits but we have barely any context for those bits.
I love how involved Louie is with his kid. I've seen too many child raising BL where they treat their kid as competition for affection with their partner. Like, that's YOUR kid, they need affection from you too! Familial affection is different from Romantic affection, it doesn't need to be ranked!
Maybe bcs he is, i heard in rl evil ppl murder living human and then sell them for ghost wedding Bcs ghost wedding need a specific birth date, etc etc so the bride/groom to be need to choosen thoroughly
I wish they didn't have to part ways like that but there is still bad blood between the brother and Hyo-un. Given how he remembers his past incarnations, maybe some day some other time. Taehyuk and Hyo-un finally have each other so I don't blame them for focusing on that.
Jaehyuk you dumbass
