Their relationship is really confusing. It says he just confessed recently and suddenly she says in her thoughts that they’re in a relationship. He’s been “pursuing” her as if they actually weren’t in a relationship before. She often plays hard to get so I’m gonna be honest, that it’s partly her fault. She already noticed how much Hai pays attention to Bei Hu, yet still decides to play the “ice cold, I’m not into you” type girl. Tbh her personality/actions itself are irritating.
No, if I'm reading this right, she did that because it was his type to get his attention and so he wouldn't get bored, because it happened before. She was jealous and insecure, because even though he showed interest, he was also very concerned with his close friend. It would have been fine if the MC hadn't kissed the best friend, at least not in front of people. And then she just goes and dies. Honestly, I feel sorry for this girl. More than I do for the MC because when you think about it, he indirectly got a girl killed, he didn't even follow after her or tell someone, like her boyfriend, that she'd run off upset.
She's too sweet, although if I was her, the first thing I would do when I see my real father (when he's not covered in blood, of course) is asking wth did he left me with such awful people. I also think she's taking the matter of her "family" not being her real family way to easy. Would I be relieved? Hell yeah. Would I also be freaking out? Absolutely.
Will I read this, even though I have a few problems with it? I haven't read the whole novel but at some point tess (elf gurl) kissed art. Soon after that she confessed at him but art said that he only see her as a childhood friend.
I actually stopped reading after that chapter bcuz i just dont like romance to happen so i didnt continue reading. Its like only 1/4 part of the novel.

He does develop some feelings for her BUT in my opinion it does not change the flow of the story too much and is very far in the novel.
