I hate having sympathy for “villains” in books. It reminds me that they’re not that sick in the head and have emotions, worries, and ways of happiness just like everyone else. That’s why I really felt for Jihyun. Although the things he did in the past are awful, he really did try to grow from them in the end. True, Jihyun doesn’t deserve to be lovers with Chiwoo, but he does deserve another person and the fact we’ll never see him happy for his fiancé or feel love in future episodes (except for the next chapter) he’ll continue to be regretful of his actions.
I’d like for you to all know that I read every single topic message you guys write on here and am so thankful that you guys are so loving to me.
