Everyone hating on Helene while I am torn between liking and disliking Eris... Because she thinks of the people from the novel just like characters from a novel, not like real people. I know that someone will just appear in replies saying "This is a realistic reaction tho" and sure, but it's not appealing to me. She tries to keep acting like Eris to not wake any suspicion, but I hope she will slowly let go of that character, because after Helene's backstory, I quite dislike the og Eris.
I like Helene more though I am pretty frustrated with how powerless she is, which is understandable as the comments below stated.
i think that evil always has a root to it, yes the original Eris was wrong for bullying Helena but the way that Eris is treated by everyone around her compared to Helena gives us an insight as to why she’s become such a spiteful person. No one is born evil and the same goes for Eris. Also the current Eris has NO reason at all to care about these people, she just wants her life back and she is also trying to respect the original Eris’ wishes by not causing too much trouble.
Exactly, the now Eris doesn’t want anything to do with this world in the first place and ultimately feels guilty for the people who loved her
Her father is a absolute piece of crap but she still felt responsible for taking his daughter away from him
