Hi I just wanted to make a analysis on why almost everyone dislikes/hates on Jennett

I think the reason why alot of people dislike her is because she is keeping the main character from reaching her goal, aka her happiness. It doesnt help the fact that Jennet doesnt give much personality and all she is a naive sweet girl. Its frustrating that she trusts a stranger off the bat and doesnt at least question other motives, some may argue its cuz she is naive and sheltered but as a person who was sheltered I have to argue back that if anything its highly sus when a stranger just suddenly starts talking to me and then randomly starts living in my house, but thats on my trust issues and we aint here about that.

In the Little Princess, she was favored by Claude more then Anthy and was also the caused of her death (now we know it was Anthy first death) even if she "tried to stop him" (honestly she could of done better tbh) so thats a good reason alot of people will dislike her cuz of that. Us the readers saw Anthy struggle (mostly in the beginning) to get Claudes approval and love but we dont really see jennett achieve great feats or struggle much like Anthy did.

Us the readers also see alot more then what the characters see in the story so seeing Jennett trust the obviously sus man (her father) can make us frustrated. We also have a huge liking towards Anthy due to us seeing her grow and watch her struggle to get her father back makes us a tad mad to see Jennett having a swell time with Anthy father....

To be honest, in my opinion and from what ive read from spoilers of the novel, I think Jennett arch wasnt needed... shes not a very interesting character nor do we see her go through trails of hardship, she had a family (yes mr white wasnt the best but je- how do you spell the white hair second lead name was like a brother to her and treated her well) when Anthy was struggling to get one, she lost her aunt? (right? its been awhile) but like it doesnt seen to effect her that much? like she had everything but everything Anthy had can be gone in a instance (like the situation right now) so people wont feel anything towards Jennett....

I love her character design, like she is adorable but I do not feel anything towards her, she feels very lack luster and too much of a back ground character compared to the other characters, hell i feel like the two maids that give Anthy chocolate had more of a character development and memorable moments then Jennett to be honest...

all in all i think this just rounds to lack of character motives and development on jennett and also the fact Spoon really made this whole arch of jennett made the story feel very slow and the readers are getting tired of Jennett and want Claude back is the reason why almost everyone dislikes her

i dislike the fact the boy is prob gonna be the ml, i see her too much of a mother figure then a lover and also she treats them like kids and as if shes their parent

i think they are both at the faults, nine is taking his frustrations on melissa because he feels like he cant help and doesnt want to see the person he loves get hurt while melissa is being careless, even if she does have back up she does need to understand that throwing yourself into danger isnt always the best course of action, theres always a chance for things to go down hill.

They both need to communicate with each other better and sort things out, melissa doesnt need to yell at nine for caring about her and nine shouldnt need to feel the need to protect her.

Btw nine doesnt see her as weak he just worried and doesnt want her to get hurt. I seen some comments say that he think shes weak but thats the exact opposite, he knows she is strong but since she is strong she is willing to throw herself in danger because of the mindset that she is a strong women. Theres nothing wrong with being strong and independent but the way shes throwing herself isnt safe and tbh can go to shit...
