Literally amazing, beautiful, healing, light-headed and soooo comfortable to read, the final chapter for the main story is so perfect

Perfect asian parents’ behavior btw, very realistic because they would more likely express their feelings through actions lol
Especially if I’m not mistaken, she gifted him a bouquet of purple snapdragons, besides the fact that it is normally gifted to express an apology, its color indicates spirituality to ward off bad things, and tons of things like royalty and elegance, like she is granting him the recognition he demanded in her very own way

I was so scared and tensed reading every next chapters oh my god
Not much of a spoiler:
Thank god in the end everyone was safe and realistically speaking, this outcome is pretty well-thought, Kangjin wouldn’t be able to handle any of them without clinging to the past, he needs to let all of it go by taking it slow, time is good, being accepting and embracing your wounds are the epitome of self-love - the thing he needed to do a long time ago, you can’t love anyone until you’ve loved yourself, the relationships took a toll on everyone so badly he knew it was wrong to continue doing anything, very ironic how his yearn for attention became his tragedy tho
Overall, I think it’s a happy ending, not in the romantic sense but the life-is-still-going-on sense, hurt people moves on, people with responsibilities and consequences falling back into the same wheel, time will heal all of it, but it won’t change a person’s instincts in any ways, I mean, big fortune always comes with big burdens, right?
Really fresh ending for an extremely intense and depressing story, this is just sad, everything in me has been taken away because this is just so sad in every way possible ╥﹏╥
They both have really amazing friends tho
yah^^ so glad they’re all supportive and there’s no third love interest in the way
