some of you know Yuki is dead right? thats kind of the point of the story? if u feel hurt its the author portraying what its like to lose someone you thought was the love of your life (exemplified in mafuyu's case because he thought he was the reason why yuki died), and moving past that. just let the story go on please, let it finish. Mafuyu made progress, Uenoyama is trying to as well. they're both just highschoolers remember that.
