Interview is definitely set before all of it. It's like an introduction of the characters. It's especially clear in the interview with Haesoo. In ch. 1, page 4, interviewer tells him ,,I've heard that very recently, you broke up'' and after Haesoo answered the question, story is shifting to him and his crying ex boyfriend. After the break up part at the cafe, he is having sex with the poor guy, page 12.
