they will kis but in the novels it takes some time so i think in the manga is going to take a while.
now the manga has still only adapted till volume 2 and i think they first kiss in volume 6 so lest wait.
eventhough there are going to be a looot of good scenes until that so i really want to se how the manga continues to adapt the novel
I honestly love this dynamic. Can we please cut the triangle/four ways drama and just focus on her family + comming to terms with ML? This was one of the greatest chapters from this story and I love the way it was told and handled. The best the story had to offer: heartbraking and strong yet realistic.

I started reading way too late and now I just hate myself but at least I finished XD
So this is pretty much standart, full of cliche yaoi and that was a snack. Cheesy and fun and with rapey undertones (just like every yaoi should have as they say XD) that are not that bad because we all know the uke wants it.
I just turned off my brain and that was a really fun read. It was cliche enough to have all of the cringe value and predictability but it also had fun touches and cute characters dynamic. It did get serious on the few last episodes but I hope it's not going to take itself so seriously.

There is a limit where inspiration ruins your work. Unfortunately that line was crossed here. It's up to a point where the leads action make no sense while trying to imitate the inspiration.
I really want to explain instead of just saying things but this is going to get complicated. man.
So for people who don't know - Who made me a princess is the main inspiration for this. And if you have read it prior to this story you need to be kind of blind to miss the heavy similarities.
I don't really care for inspiration, but the thing is I just feel like I'm reading a version of WMMAP from the point of view of a person who didn't get WMMAP. The thing is all of the point used here are made poorly, taking everything out of context and ruining it for this storyyyyyyyy :'(
For example, the meeting! In WMMAP the emperor is frightening for all of the chapters prior to their introduction. We know for a *fact* that he, in the past, was capable to murder his own child - the FL makes this very clear. Here, however, there is not enough place designated to this bit of the plot. It's very clear he is going to be in the gray area morally, which makes him not terrifying at all. We know his decision to kill the FL will most likely won't be influenced by their meeting. In WMMAP their first meetings were tests that detainment whenever the FL will survive or not. You can't beat that intensity with mr-I-love-my-son. Also the way the lead chose to act with her father - in WMMAP the FL used the information she had to understand how she is supposed to act in order to survive. Here it was just off and kind of unnecessary.
Also I can't forgive them for pretty much re-drawing one of the best panels from WMMAP but totally misusing it.
Anyway I can keep on talking about it for days cause there were a lot of problems that evolved from this, but I wont cause obviously, this is a new artist. I hope to see them evolve. Maybe I'll get back here in the future and this story will grow and change to something else<': amen

Reading for a while and for now this is good but not great to me. I feel like more is missing and the plot is not centered enough to let the readers expect something. Like, what am I really reading for? We don't really have a clear goal - Which is realistic, yes, but is lacking to a story telling degree. And also we could have something more realistic and dynamic. For now it just feels like we're going from one plot point to the other with nothing to connect it but the characters. Yes that could be good but here it's just pretty off and lacking. And that make me sad XD
Also the Emperor's only weaknesses are lizards and Pauliana. And that is just not really exciting or interesting romance wise or even character wise. We've spent quite some time with him but his only personality traits is smiling.
Honestly there are a lot of webtoons just like what we got here, but this one irks me because all of the amazing potential it has. The way it's told, the FL. The fact our girl is actually respected by the ML. I need those stuff in my life.
