Ryu min is so unnecessary that you can delete his whole presence from the story, and the plot will change only slightly. Just why, after 60 episodes, we need to have this unrelated plot? (and we already have a 2nd lead so why) We had a good thing going with her family problems, struggles as a writer and the lead's relationship. We don't need 2000 arcs for this relatively simple plot. Not every story need a 2nd (and 3rd) lead. Just. Just why.
I guess I'll stop and read when it's done ;=======; I liked this but the need to maintain the story is turning the plot stale. It's not that this is not good but the author tries to tell us 50 stories in a price of one:<

It does the novel justice. Its a faithfull adaptation that adds quite a few bits here and there, and it's really great to see! The original story is great as well, but it's clearlly made for this kind of medium, so this really is the storys ultimate form. I love how the adaptation understand what makes the novel so great and just lean into it<:

Uhhhhh I'm not sure what to think over the Diego diraction. That was tottally uncalled for. Honestly, it would have been great if there was nothing romantic between them. It would have also been great to not get the same war over a diffrent woman, which seems like the diraction we go here.
I mean, I can understand her relationship with the ml, I get the crush what's-his-face had for her, they were netural and that was sweet and innocent (to a certain degree) but this feels cheap and rushed and the story is better than this. Kinda wished for more.
The deal with the female lead and what was attractive about her previously is har warmth and care, mainly to the ml. That's not working all too well with the theme we had.
Honestly I'm not even angry at Diego, that was forced as heck. I feel bad for him for being controlled XD Everything up to this point I could understand. Yes, I didn't agreed with anything, but the story and characters wete deep enough to be understood. This aint it sis.
I'll just wait for the ml to distract me and wish Diego isn't going to be present enough. If he is the villain it's gonna suck. Probabbly.

There is so much debate around the plot and I'm living for it. Ccccccauusssee whenever or not you agree with the character's action, it's hard not to symphatise with them - and that's great writing.
I love this a lot, it's a really strong story, and the dynamic the characters have is *chef kiss* level of good. It's sooo promising that it makes me scared. Please let them not drop the ball with this one.

Sooo after reading here in the comments that Mia is a huge fucking bitch I'm so sad. This chapter could have been the reality;_; woman don't have to fight over man. It doesn't need to be the source of their conflit;_;
Honestly this chapter proves that Mia could have been a great aid to the emperor, let him evolve as a husband and lover and all of it as friend. I would have loved it if all of the three were besties.

I agree it also makes no sense when you look at Mia's back story. She was in a relationship where her boyfriend cheated with a trusted friend and she ended up in this world. Where she meets a kind Empress who helps her, and she is aware that the Emperor has a wife. And then what? Suddenly (!) she decides to pursue a married man?? This isn't a boyfriend, its a married, committed man? It makes her backstory so lackluster. The author could of made it ANYTHING, literally any bloody backstory, yet chose the girl who experienced a bitter lovers betrayal to choose to be the very side woman role she originally felt heartbroken over? I struggle to see the sense in that, is all （￣へ￣）

Hmm well from where I'm standing honestly speaking it is common for women who has been betrayed by their spouse in the form of adultery to also end up becoming an adulterer themselves. If we look at it from this point of view, at first she was simply in amor with the love the emperor has for the empress so she was genuinely trying to help them. She sees that love he has for her and thinks about her tragic love and because she wishes he ex was like the emperor she can't help but watch over the emperor and give him advice. Now as she stays by his side advising him she can't help but admire him even more. Then a small part of her subconsciously wishes that it was her he love at least thats when she realizes she loves him. Then while she is struggling with this feeling she hears about the legend that they should both be together. She already wants him and hell they even have a legend about it so why not? Humans are selfish by nature she feels as if though he is rightfully hers so she goes and fuxk shit up.
