Sorry but even if I understand why he did it, that was still really selfish of XiaoFan. In order to not be rejected and hurt more he decided to hurt Wangzi instead. Not even leaving him a chance, he let his insecurities win over instead of caring about how he was hurting the guy he's supposed to love and care about.
