The artist did an amazing job conveying Taku’s pain of love lost. I think that’s why everyone feels so sad, the feelings really came through in that scene, more than any scene to date. That tear hurt my heart. I wasn’t rooting for him to be end game, bc it just wasn’t believable, but I do hope the author does right by him.
No shade to the fandom, but I don’t understand how you’re so mad that Taku prob won’t be endgame. I just finished reading the story again from the beginning and with the exception of a few moments, there was no indication that Haesoo cld possibly, maybe end up with him. For 90+ chapters, the majority of Haesoo’s thoughts were about Joowon. Sure he showed Taku some affection and consideration and I believe he grew to genuinely care for him, but love him? No. Even if for some reason Joowoon isn’t endgame, it’s simply not believable that Taku is. Haesoo was never torn between the two, romantically, only of what he felt should be“wrong or right” when in a relationship. Joowon was the wrong way, and Taku how it should be, only to realize later that alot of the “right” things he did with Taku, he already experienced with Joowon. His pride and immaturity cldnt let him see it. Furthermore, why wld you even want your fav to end up w Haesoo! Every single intimate moment he and Haesoo shared, Haesoo was thinking about Joowon. Thinking about him as they kiss , as they’re having sex, as he strokes his hair, his thoughts always go to Joowon and not how great Taku is making him feel or how much he likes Taku and how right that moment feels. Lastly, to those angry here saying they hate love triangles and wld have never read this much if you knew that this is how they would end up, what have you actually been reading for 2 years? The description , the thumbnail art, literally every single chapter, has depicted this one guy and the diff dynamics he has with TWO men. If you didn’t know by now, that’s on you boo.
Yea I’m wondering if ppl actually even read this. And btw the amount of time taku and haesoo spent together doesn’t even amount to the years joowon and haesoo have. And yea the step bro thing is weird but they don’t even see eachother as brothers. I have yet to be given something other than the fact that they’re step brothers or that joowon is toxic(but taku is toxic too) to why taku is better than joowon. And even the time joowon and haesoo are apart they always want to come back to eachother again. Taku was never supposed to be endgame, I love taku but he was just a temporary interest it’s always been joowon from the start
Exactly! Tbh even if Joowon and Haesoo had their ups and downs, Joowon rlly did make an effort to change. Haesoo was also afraid to go further into the relationship he had with Joowon because in the first place they started off as step brothers. Not only that, he was emotionally unstable because of his issue with his mom. He felt as if he didn’t deserve any love. I feel like some people haven’t read the story at all...It was obvious in the first sentences when Haesoo was sitting as if telling their story so there wasn’t a chance for him to end up with Taku. Taku also needs to sort out his issues with himself and actually find a person who will give him the love he needs not someone who didn’t have any space in heart for him.
The new raws mean nothing to me. The author could easily pull some shit and veer away from “the obvious ending”. I ship Joowon but I refuse to rejoice until I see that “The End” on the last chapter. As they say, it ain’t over till it’s over.
Good point, and I feel like author has given just that little bit of room for interpreting these interactions. Still, I think to when Taku told his friend that he couldn’t wait (for Haesoo) forever, which is a marked contrast to Joowon’s admissions that he’d be there for Haesoo in whatever capacity he needed.
I don’t feel Ryun is as bad as he’s made out to seem. Yes, he was jealous & obnoxious, but thats normal when your bff starts doing stuff w someone else without you; I never saw him jealous as a love rival type of jealous. Tho true he was trippin too hard there for a min, Sanghwa finally checked him. Who knows, Ryun might have always been like that but bc Sanghwa never put him in his place being that he was too busy getting his own feelings hurt over unfulfilled expectations he himself admitted he never revealed, Ryun got too comfortable in believing this was their dynamic. We will see what future chapters hold.
The thing is that this is an unhealthy type of control. Sanghwa has no other friends. Suddenly, he starts hanging out with someone, and Ryuh is mad in a way that doesn't make sense. It's like he's jealous and wanting to control who his boyfriend is with. But they're not even dating!! Ryuh is dating someone else. It's honestly not his business to control who his best friend hangs out with. Nor would it be if they were dating!!!

Hello, I’ve read a few times in the comments that the scenes going back and forth from present to past gets a bit confusing. I just finished reading this again, and from my observation and guess, is that the past memories , the dialogue is in a “black bubble” vs in the present, when they are speaking, the dialogue is in a “white bubble”.
Also, him throwing the little boy is to no surprise, since he choked the boy in chapter11-12 over some strands of greasy hair. And that was before he was even “woke”.
