Let’s think about it this way, mafuyu was yukis soulmate but yuki wasn’t his, I genuinely believe that mafuyu and ue are the best for eachother not only because they help eachother develop they also aren’t too co dependent like mafuyu and yuki were. Being too codependent can began to be really toxic, ue understands that mafuyu loves him and that yuki will always be apart of him it’s what makes their relationship healthy.
