1st She knew there will be a carriage accident, so she insisted on coming along.
2nd She wore similar outfit to her Dad
3rd She climb out of the carriage first.
She meant to die in the place of her Dad. I sorta had the feeling this would happen in the early chapters. Maybe that's why she didn't want to be together with the Male Lead. She don't want him to be a widower if they got married. The feels

Chapter 27. I swear nothing has made me so stressed out before EXCEPT reading Chapter 27.
I like how the one who save the child isn't the princess, not the uncle (Grand Duke) either but a random character that was just introduced. I literally screamed when the uncle who is also the strongest bodyguard given that he can read minds left her side. Oml, I really wished there was more security assigned to the child. Why can't the princess assign at least 1 maid to her? So many people want to harm the child. At this point, I feel that the child should go back with the Grand Duke to her mother's birthplace.
The princess can't protect her.

She does have a maid, the one who defended her against the other maids from the older sister's faction. However, at the party, the maid can't be present.
Also, before that moment, the Duke has no idea how bad it was for Fleta and still doesn't know the scope of it (the abuse before the princess showed up). That's why he made the suggestion after experiencing what they will attempt to do to the child.

I LOVE THIS ML OML.
If this story was in a class setting, he'd be the class clown. Confident and playful. He is a very charming male lead in my opinion. I also like the female lead for not immediately trusting the male lead and insisting they need a contract.
My only question is, why is the father so insistent on killing the female lead just because of her powers? He doesn't need to be threatened because it's not like his daughter will harm him, so why? Everything so far makes sense except this. I hope the fl will investigate more on this.
About ten chapters in, I feel like Nanase is the standard (highest level of compliment I can give to a female protagonist). She doesn't force the ml and has a pure heart. If I'm a male, I would absolutely marry her.
