Hmmmm, I think the worst thing about her brother was that it took so long to break him. I would have turned evil sooner, actually. He had a conscience, empathy, and a penchant for standing up for what's right from such a young age. We can hold him accountable AND empathize with his abuse, torture, manipulation, and forced collapse of his morals.
