I agree, realistically a simple apology wouldn't be sufficient for rape, but given the context of the story and the genre we're reading, an apology here was amazing. In all the manga I've read with dubcon and noncon (which is quite a lot), I can count the number of times on my hand where an apology actually occurred for the rape in question.
I have seen oblivious and hardheaded ukes consider seeing a doctor for heart problems, or running away from reality with excuses for the sake of their pride, or even purposely acting unattractive to get out of admitting they have fallen in love and avoid the semes advances, but never have I seen one desperate enough to just walk up to the mental hospital... wow... that's hard-boiled.
