my biggest gripe with raymond rn is how he treats ian. he always puts his own feelings and wants before ians and its like he doesnt even respect ian as his own person. like the fact that he was happy that the rumors caused ian to step out of the exibition even though ian has been working really hard for it and was really excited. he never rlly cares about ian's own feelings unless they affect him and it just feels icky. but i rlly do want raymond to change and become better bc i dont want him to turn into another rothsildt (i have a lotta thoughts about the social system and hierarchy in this story and how its affected raymond but i will save that essay for another time lmao). all in all, i just dont want ian to be hurt but i know thats inevitable ://
