I still would love to read the beginning of them. How they met, fell in love, had to deal with their parents, the pregnancy and with whatever happened with their former neighbours.

    What chapter was that?

Well the fish for their prequel is just that. A wish. At least I haven't heard or read anything about that happening.
The only thing I could name a chapter with, would be the implied issue with their neighbours. Hiromu talked about it in Ch.1!

I think I haven't loved a story as much as this one in a very long time. I watched the donghua like 10 times already - I kid you not! And watched my favorite scenes, like San Lang catching Xie Lian, even more often.
The art of the manhua is breathtaking!! Amazing doesn't do it justice. In every single chapter is at least one or two pictures I'd like to print and put on my walls.
Didn't read the novel yet, blasphemy, I know, but will start soon.

Hua Cheng & Xie Lian's love is omnipresent. Every single moment of this story breathes their love, even when Xie Lian doesn't know Hua Cheng yet (well not really).
I'm excited for the Live Action version, though also scared due to this damn shitty Chinese censorship, which ruines everything (The Untamed was great, but imagine if LW & WW were allowed to actually be openly in love, kiss and marry - it would've blown us away!). And like I said the love btw HC & XL is even more present then the one in TU, so don't screw this up China (you're screwing up enough as it is!).

    hange_zoe_wife_af March 10, 2021 4:45 am

hi and yes so when i read the novel it seemed like the novel chapter and the manhwa chapter are like synced so i'm pretty sure the chapter in the novel we're on rn is 47. i hope you enjoy the novel it's so good and the plot is gorgeous but i hope i answered your question ;)

    Stormborn March 18, 2021 9:50 pm

    Awesome :D Thank youuuuu :)

Stormborn March 7, 2021 9:06 pm

Srsly, I can't even describe how much I'm in love with San Lang & Xie Lian. Their chemistry is breathtaking. I'm also so glad we have the "anime". The music... it captures them so well.
I think they're my fav. couple of all their are!

I guess it's bc he's still rather young and not really an adult yet, but... while he's feeling down bc of his parents, bc of questioning who abandoned who and why... he's ignoring and kinda "abandoning" his own son in the process.
I mean, he knows he's in very good and loving hands, but his son doesn't understand why he can't see and be with him, why he's being pushed away :/ So, even though it's hard right now, "suck it up" and care for him. It's what parents "have to" do.
Also, lamenting in the bedroom will solve literally nothing.

    Amarynthia March 8, 2021 8:26 am

Trauma and depression are not restricted to any age, implying such is extremely ageist. "Sucking it up" is never the answer for anyone re-experiencing past trauma whether they are a parent or not. Ignoring your mental health won't help you function. It results in people ill equipped to express their concerns with their own mental health. It results in parents unable to teach their children the same. Your basically suggesting he do what his father has made him do his entire life so far and it is wrong. Think a little more critically before you spew such hurtful rhetoric.

Never said it is. And you clearly saw the "..." around "suck it up". He has to deal with that and had every right to feel how he feels. All I'm saying is he does have a very young child that's highly confused and anxious why his parent won't have him around. And that shouldn't be. Not like that. Than he has to take a proper time out. Not a running-away time-out, but one he at least shortly discusses with his partner and leaves for some time, so his son won't witness him being that way AND being pushed away.

Putting "..." doesn't mean shit. You didn't have to say it, it's what you implied. I'm not even gonna try and comprehend the explanation you clearly pulled out of your ass cause if you had meant that initially then thats what you would have stated -which it wasn't.

Stormborn March 3, 2021 7:28 pm

Well, don't get me wrong these stories about the "servants" of our Ciel is rather interesting, but at the same time I can't help myself thinking "could you hurry it up, I really miss our Ciel & Sebastian and want to see them again" and with that I mean more than 2 or 3 pages.
I get that all this now is somewhat important but it also feels like we're stuck somewhere.

    Nishi March 4, 2021 12:50 am

You should mark where you are and forget about it for a few years. If you decide to check it again, it might be full if chapters.

    Stormborn March 7, 2021 8:54 pm

I kinda started doing that tbh xD like I didn't properly read anything after Mei's story and just peak at the pics hoping to see Sebastian & Ciel xD

Stormborn February 26, 2021 1:39 am

Uhm how about NO! Why would he have a bloody RIGHT to see anyone. No one really has. Especially not him. And even more especially not "undoubtetly" - THE AUDACITY! He lost every right to call himself his father. His biological "genitor" (if that's the right word), maybe. But end of story. To hell with him.
Pisses me so off that he actually had a chance to see his son again and to also hurt him AGAIN. Kick him out, get a restraining order and don't grand him ANYTHING ever again.
The fact that he was grinning most of the time. Wuah, what disgusting behaviour.
Could someone give him hell already!!
I don't care if maaybe at some point in his past he did something right, be it not leaving his son. But treating him right is actually way more important. There were a lot of no go's towards his child in this scene alone.

Stormborn February 24, 2021 8:45 pm

He just left him lying there unconcious? Which btw is because he strangled him to begin with!? WTH. I get it that in such desperate situations you seek someone to blame and yo might say or do hurtful things (which you eventually regret and apologize for big time), but he just left him there!!
Wow, you lost so many sympathy points bc of that. I mean the strangling was actually already bad enough... but anyway.

    Misha February 24, 2021 9:30 pm

And jiang Cheng doesn’t ever feel bad for what he did even when wuxian got his parents bodies back for him

    Juno February 24, 2021 10:34 pm

Jiang Cheng holds Wei Wuxian responsible for his father's and Lady Yu's deaths. He considers WWX's innate heroism to be a form of egoism, and thinks that he betrayed his primary loyalty to their family by deflecting Wen Cao's direct malice and jealousy away from Lan Xian. Even if Jiang Cheng doesn't know that Wei Wuxian stole the yin iron sword that was in the Slaughter Tortoise's belly, he thinks his sworn brother has brought down the wrath of the Wen's onto their clan by killing the Slaughter Xuanwu for the sake of looking like a hero. I'm not saying this is fair, reasonable or even rational, but that's the world through Jiang Cheng's eyes, which is why I like this author so much. She adds complexity and nuance to what are usually hackneyed story tropes.

Oh. My. GOD!
Finally!!!!!!!!! You have NO idea how long I've been waiting for this update!! Or actually, you can have an idea. Ever since Ch.1 was updated and I've read the RAWs afterwards. That makes it 5,5 years. Meaning: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
