I think that because hana released his pheromones to him when he was younger. He thought hana was his and they were meant to be together so he kept persuing him.
Tbh i do think they should keep a bit of a distance but im kinda hoping to see a story about aoba and some other love interest or something.

Yes true actually. I think they are. And back in some chapter senpai took the initiative and I thought this was the turning point, it felt complete for once. But yeah for once indeed.
