Still waiting for the day authors don't let people (almost) rape others and then not only get away with it but stay friends or become friends with their nearly victim. Like wtf. There is no excuse for that at all. Could someone please in a future story actually call the police!?
(And I don't mean a future yakuza story aka a dark story line, but also in lighter stories, "daily life" stories like this one.)

I know it's not the focus right now, but... PLEASE DON'T BE PREGNANT!!!
I'm so fed up with these "ups we screwed up during heat" pregnancys, that are also way to early. Can no couple just mature in their relationship first and (I don't know) travel, enjoy their time together and THEN actually decide they wanna have a child. Or for once no child at all. It's not the only must to way to find real happiness. I know a lot of people enjoy this, but I'm fed up with it. Soooo fed up.

They're not humans tho. They're part animal; creatures ruled mostly by instinct. And with respect to the story's setting where fem lycans are rare and almost extinct, it makes sense that breeding is a necessity. It doesn't have anything to do with maturity. Plus, happiness isn't linear. How one achieves so varies greatly from person to person lol

But that's my point exactly. Happiness isn't linear. But they keep selling it as linear in those stories. Because there outcome for happiness is almost always the same "accidentally pregnant, but hey tuns out that's the road to happiness". And that's what's annoying & bothering me.
And I'm not talking against babies at the end. But not too early (again), cuz of a heat (again), not planned (again), while there is a pile of huge live&death problems (again) ...

But it's the general premise of stories like this one; it's a take-it-or-leave-it kind of thing. I get why you're so fed up with the overused storyline. Tho, I don't agree that they're selling it as what you've said (that being "accidentally" more like unplanned pregnancy leads the road to happiness). On second thought, maybe they do; but in my perspective, it's just a natural response to take responsibility for things that is happening at the moment. Like there's nothing more to it than just facing the consequences and dealing with it the best way they could (w/c could be carrying on with the pregnancy or abortion?? Idk)...
We both know fluffy stories like this mostly goes on the forming-a-family route (≧∀≦) well, they could go dark and decide to get a abortion; and the series would have to explore a whole new undertone w/c isn't really a bad thing as well.
Well, my point is... Happiness in any story that has supernatural elements (i.e. immortality, mates) usu. centers around finding someone precious... people who found each other and stays together despite the hardships. And the "heat" is essentially part of their animalistic nature, it's supposed to be an irrational thing where base instincts rule over both mind and body; because that's exactly it, they can't make "mature" decisions. It's like, "breed, breed, breed" so I don't really get why you want to impose a wholly human concept of maturity to characters that aren't even human to begin with ╥﹏╥
And yeah, I'm glad we agree that happiness isn't linear! My response is too long, my goodness! I didn't even notice! I'm sorry in advance if I'm too presumptuous. I swear I'm not picking a fight(/TДT)/

Don't get me wrong I looove this manga. But lately it's more like a family drama than a love story xD It's part of life. I get that. Buuuuut I read this manga to see those two together and the last volume was already short on this part. Could the next volume maybe be mainly about them?! That'd be great :)

Aoba isn't cute at all. Sorry if anyone sees it like that, but it's not-healthy, not normal (and hell I don't even mean the brother-aspect) and quite pathetic. I want him goooone. Just leave for good.
Other than that, finally!! Renjaku is being nice and sweet in his own way. I mean he was acting like a dick for the longest time, but finally he is turning into someone who's good for Hana!

Uhm do we know what went down with Ken's family. Like why he & his brother have not the best relationship with him. Like I think I remember it originally was bc he "turned out" gay and stood by the man he loved, so I guess he left his wife for him. But then why do they boys live with him. And by now they are grown up and both gay themselves, so shouldn't they be at an understanding point. Plus their dad seems pretty nice and sweet and I wished he and his lover could properly be together, which they seemed didn't so far, most probably bc of his sons. And I feel sorry for them :(

It's because they didn't want to burden their mother, it is said at one point I can't remember but they came to live with his dad because they want their dad to suffer because of them (probably kids' thoughts but make sense in a way because for one he and his lover can't be together openly because of them)

Oooh :/ hmm ok that's rather cruel. I get it on some level, on the "the wound is fresh and they were kids", but deciding to stay with their father so he can't be with the person he loves is a biiiit much. Plus a mother shouldn't, usually woundn't want to be left by their kids. All a bit odd. But it doesn't change the fact that the brothers BOTH aren't kids anymore and now in a similar situation and now what's it like to love someone like that. And they're even gay. Could it please be made a short storyline were they apologize and let those two be happy. That's so sad :(

"It isn't that I hate Aoba!" Ok, odd, but your feelings, just... can we agree that he is at least rather disgusting and creepy and stalker-ish and that his behavious would rise huge concerns in the real world. Like a crime is for sure. I bet the mangaka turns it in the end so we're supposed to like him, so she might make a SpinOff, but urgh -.-
Did anyone ever read a BL were the creep, almost rapist, sometimes real rapist actually gets turned it and goes to jail. I haven't. Except if it was a jail-topic story to begin with oooor maaaybe a yakuza themed one. But even than it must be a heavy topic one not like Honto Yayuu.
Currently rereading (for the x-th time ^^). I'm still wondering why no one was confused when that shady guy brought along a "random" omega that happens too assumingly be Yuutos fated person!? How would he know that. Why did no one ever question this?
I think he did sum voodoo magic genetic alteration to him, because it was mentioned in the story. And also he was like a scientist? I have no idea.
I think that too. But my point was more... why did no one ever wonder about this. I mean, what would be the chances that he brings along a random omega who just happens to be Yuuto's fated mate xD
Lmao, I would have loved it if the creep guy and Yuuto's "mate" were partners or a fated pair I think that would be amazing. And low-key think he turned into a top at the end.
