I actually like Yuriel, like, she seems like a nice antagonist.

This is such a good mix harem, at Bakarina level, like, she could be with any of them and you will be reassured she will be in good hands and be loved the rest of her life, and the same for them.

also, I wouldn't mind even a secret polyamory relationship.

they all just have so good chemistry---

It makes me uncomfortable how they talk about loyalty for the empress considering most of them were on board with the treason, I would prefer if they pledge their loyalty to the queendom/kingdom, to the people they have to protect, instead of the ruler they were so close to kick out, their loyalty is obviously with the people.

    sweetsugar1997 September 27, 2020 5:32 pm

No I think everyone is loyal to her. It's clear they love her dearly but she was a tyrant so I think a revolution was necessary. But they waited for the last possible second and the minute she changed they come begging forgiveness because they didn't really want to kill but she was out of control. I think that shows how much her people really love her.

That's the point, the revolution was necessary for the sake of the people, their loyalty and responsibilities lies with them, they were literally SO close to kick her out, it does make me uncomfortable how they talk about loyalty towards the empress, I can't easily ignore that, Count Venus in the other hand, is quite honest about his actions, his loyalty is towards the empire.

But they held out on the revolution for so long, despite the tyranny, BECAUSE they were so loyal to her. It was empress>people till they couldn't ignore her tyranny anymore. The story is that ghey had no choice, even Eusto (who is in love with her) steeled himself to kill her.

They could no longer ignore.... for the good of the people, there is absently nothing wrong with their loyalty being towards the empire and its people.

Stop playing with the goalpost, you're talking about whether or not they have loyalty to the empress and the answer is yes. You're presenting their loyalty to the people as a counter when it's not. They have both. You also tried to argue depth of loyalty, empress vs people, to which i pointed out that they only held a revolution at the last second because they didn't want to, they ended up forced to. So it seems (and we're kinda directly shown as we see internal monologs from Eusto about not wanting to kill her and everyone begging for forgiveness when they realize she was drugged) that it was empress>people.

I don't know why I have to justify my own feeling to you so hard, or why are you so concern about it, I did not say they were unloyal and that they are terrible, they of course have a sense of loyalty towards her and that was because she was a good ruler, they had to do something, revolution, for the greater good, protect the empire.

I repeat, I said it made me feel uncomfortable considering all that happen in such a short amount of time, why is that feeling such a deal? I don't have idea.

I find hard to hate Yuriel because she is literally US playing, man, do I need to apologize to my fictional baes in the otome games, I'm sorry for being unfaithful.

I really like MC and her designs is really beautifull buuuuuuuut, the dresses, please, someone hand her something better.

Since she was a victim of the same thing herself in the past, she understands. :'(

It happened a little different in the novel, everyone pointed everyone else portray except viscount Roteshu, so he thought that it was TOO MUCH of a coincidence for it to be truth, and deduced that they purposely avoided to identifying him because he was the one who paid them.

Cloverfr September 24, 2020 9:49 pm

Okay, I'm sorry for being dumb but I don't get who is who, for example, who is Viscount Landre and why did he care so much for the duchess honor? I'm so bad with names and makes it so hard to understand this.

So, I get this, Rashta wanted a new spicy rumor, so she digged dirt on the duchess since she is so loved in the social circle.

The rumor is that she cheat on her fiance with his brother, had a baby ... when? Before marriage? and... I don't know how the temple is involved in this, her husband is infertile something something, I don't think I understand 100% what the whole issue is about, if someone is kind to explain who is who and how the whole issue works I would appreciate a lot.

    innocents September 24, 2020 10:07 pm

Okay, from what I've gathered: The rumor is that she cheated on her fiance with his older brother before the marriage because she had a baby 7 months after.

Viscount Landre, the guy behind bars, is in love with the Duchess, so he takes it upon himself to investigate the rumors to prove her innocence. I guess he confronted Rashta about it, though I don't think he had actually meant to stab her, but the contents of their actual conversation was covered up, and he was accused as the sole bad guy. Leaving Rashta as the pitiful victim.

I think you got most of it. Except for Duchess Tuania and Viscount Landre being lovers, if I remember correctly. The duke didn't really care that his wife had lovers because of his child, but after that father-child relationship was threatened by the rumors spread by Trashta...things got really messy.
