Wait, if the higher you are in the hierarchy the longer you live, does that mean that the evil rabbit is going to die soon? He said he is the lowest creature in the hierarchy.

It's not for sure.
It is not just a question of who is eaten first but also of the life years of each individual.
See the sons of the serpent, especially the one in this chapter.
Considering the image in which the four cubs are seen bathing while the snake cares for them with love it is clear that there is also a difference in the span of life.
Beta's live less than alphas. :(

No, I get that. This chapter made me cry because I am absolutely sure that his son went off to die but I mean I don't think that a character which has such great importance to the plot is going to perish early or soon rather. So I think this guy is the anomaly and it's probably going to be attested to his eating of alphas. (Sorry that my original comment was unclear, hope this was better. Sometimes I'm bad at explaining things.)

Don't worry, I also have trouble expressing myself. '^^
However, the plot's snake children are not important on balance.
The real protagonists are the wolf and the rabbit, then there are the secondary characters like the snake and all the others.
The son of the snake I do not know if we can consider an anomaly, in this chapter in the end we were simply explained something important using as a reference the half-bloods or beta.

The rabbit is the anomaly not the snake's son. Snake's son is painfully average.
And I'd have to disagree with you I think the Snake, the bunny, and the wolf are all main characters. If it were still like the first chapter then I'd probably agree but more recent chapters emphasized the snake and wolf's relashonship AND the this started when the rabbit got jealous.

Well at this point we need to see the next chapters.
Seeing how easy it was for the author to turn the manga into a tragedy with just one chapter, it could also be.
But it must be said that if there really is a soul mate in this manga it cannot be the snake for the wolf.
The wolf only reacts to the rabbit if you have noticed, so I see it difficult for the author to transform their relationship.
Especially if the snake is looking for its soul mate, but then again it could be as you say.
This author surprised me a lot, I did not expect such a serious topic. :)

You're right, I had forgotten that the rabbit had reacted to the snake. o.o
What a chaotic manga, I really want to see how the story will evolve.
But don't you think it's weird?
Should there be only one soulmate?
If the rabbit reacted to the snake why didn't the snake react in turn? o.ò
There is something that escapes me in all this.
I hope it's not like you say that the author is doing things randomly, for once the question of the life limit is added to an omegaverse type manga, making the situation ruining everything so it would be a waste. :(
This is something additional to the plot at the end.

I mean, yeah, it's weird. But wasn't it the snake that started feeling it first while thinking about the wolf?
But then the story in general. Instead of the usual subgender sexism we have this animalistic hierachy where people actually eat one another. In some ways it's more like sex pistols than it is an omegaverse.

Wait, they've been dating for almost a decade and his boyfriend never met his friends? Or are they gonna break up or something before the other couple's story starts?
And am I the only one kinda angry in the seme's behalf? The guy has been a super dedicated lover for 10 YEARS and that's what he get? Really?! I get that this happens, that after so long together the passion can die a little and that it's common for couples to be in different phases of life. But if you don't love him anymore, if he became an annoyance then break up already! Don't lead him on like that! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I don't know about you guys, but I'm very thankful they haven't kissed or anything. Considering their situation, even if the Director is truly in love with Craig, he is still in a position of power. He could kill him at any time and Craig is painfully aware of that. If the Director tried anything, Craig most likely would think that having sex and doing whatever else the Director wanted is something he has to do if he wants to live. That's a terrible starting point for a relationship. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I couldn't agree more
