Sigh, it’s over. Now I can finally go and finish reading the last novel. I didn’t have it in my heart to do it.
The only question I wanted answered was whether or not the sequel is on the horizon.
I really liked the second volume a lot. There’s a lot of great little scenes in it, and just watching them struggle in their everyday relationship sigh.
Maybe in two years since thats the time skip lol
But if you’re considering reading the novels I do recommend reading the second one. Its epilogue is very satisfying. Everything else after that is extra.
(And spare yourself the suffering of the last volume omg I hate it but I love them, but it makes me cringe)

I spent real money to read the novel, but not enough, I’m only at 26 out of 40 and the manwha is currently at chapter 14 ish for the novel

Spoilerish review so far
So this is melodramatic as fuck, a problem of values and fundamental existential angst.
Sion is crazy, but honestly, it is very interesting flavour of crazy, while Sunwoo is so damn real it hurts.
What might be frustrating thorn in their relationship is the fact that it really was love at first sight for our twisted top. The problem is the first time he sees Sunwoo is while the bottom is being bullied and beaten by the OG bully.
The heart breaking part is that almost right way the Sion or at least a couple days of rumination that he thinks to himself “I’d just be nice to him to get into his pants, beating him won’t get me laid????” And it’s like yeah. No shit. But it’s that, the ethics of the ulterior motive THATS really on display in this story.
A lot of BL’s have like central stories/fairy tales/themes they draw from. This one draws a lot of bible talk actually which was surprising but the one that Sion used to rationalize his feelings is one where he contrasts himself with the OG bully.
The story of the sun and the wind making bets on who could strip the traveller. Sunwoo is the traveller, Bully is the wind, and Sion is the Sun.
Anyways it’s definitely one of those learning what love means the incredibly hard way.
It’s gonna get absolutely NASTY in the next chapters,
Sunwoo is incredibly hurt and feels betrayed and Sion doesn’t understand why because in a way he really was only nice to him, even though he is absolutely crazy possessive and horny.
But the SA is light so far, during their fight there was some SA, but they did not go all the way so far. But they do beat the shit out of each other so if you don’t like physical violence brace your heart. Because Sunwoo does not take anything lying down.
Grain of salt, about the SA though, haven’t caught up yet, might cost me 15 dollars to read the whole thing lol

It was good translation until 230 ish, so I was shook, and it’s not bad, it’s like they lost the proof reader/ editor who does all the quotes, commas, and ‘ parentheses.
So you can read it, just not as smoothly.
