Yes please. I'd like to know. Is he possibly an elf descendant? I've watch the anime as far as when yuno somehow became an elf after litch got all the magic stones.

In terms of magic is yuno with his cheat like power brought up from his ass wich he obtains easily with no hardship involve and then theres asta who is dedicated and always works hard to become stronger plus his anti magic swords wich counters basically all magic. so in other words asta is better

I guess it depends one which attribute you find stonger, magic or muscle.
Yuno has very strong magic and has a wind spirit
And Asta is very much strength based and has anti magic
In a fight i think it would be relatively even
Though Yami is a good in between muscle and magic (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

If they were to actually fight, I think Yuno would win, but it would be a rather close match. But if you're talking about magical prowess, obviously it's Yuno. Asta's magicless lol. But if you're talking about physical durability Asta would probably take the win. While shouting obnoxiously all the way lol.

I think that’s kind of a very Aggressive way of saying it. I’m not gonna deny the fact that he has a lot of things that gives him a boost but you can’t really say that he doesn’t work hard because it’s stated in the Manga a lot of the times that he’s been practicing and he’s been trying really hard and he put a lot of effort just the story doesn’t follow him so we don’t really get to see him. I get why people don’t like him because he seems really OP but that’s not really a valid argument for he’s not hard-working. He’s not really the main characters of the story doesn’t follow him so you don’t really get to see what he does during when the story follows Asta. But I’m still saying Asta is better. I just want the fandom to more open minded and no jump to conclusions because that really gives the fandom a bad rep also a reason I was so hesitant on joining and in not saying that you have to like him. Also I’m not trying to be rude

Thank you! I like Yuno over Asta, and so it always makes me sad to see people bash him for no real reason. You don't have to like him but the hate I see for him is all for this reason, and it doesn't seem logical. And he's not even the only OP character we see in the show that can easily pull off feats of magic. But if we start getting panels of him training and working hard then I'm sure people would start complaining on why are we seeing him. I thought the story was about Asta. blah blah blah. People just wouldn't be happy either way.

Yes I actually do agree with you honestly I’m not gonna lie Yuno is my favorite character And on some part yeah I bias him some more than others I obviously like him over Asta because not because I don’t like him it’s because his personality just doesn’t match mine and saying that in a way as of course you know people that you certainly don’t like not because they have a bad personality is just because you don’t match. And I don’t hate him in anyway but seem to me that a lot of people were making fact based opinions and analysis tend to use their bias toward characters as a way to justify their rationality. I believe when trying to decide for example who is the best character overall in the show shouldn’t determine on your bias towards another character all your likes but more on their overall personality and how they treat other people in no way or form I’m saying that Yuno is the best character out of all of them based on rationality because to be honest Yuno is not the nicest person but he’s not a bad person. And of course nowhere in the story is it stated that he does not work in fact it is stated multiple times that he works hard and even the wizard king stated that he sees that Yuno is powerful and got to the point where he is is because of his determination and efforts are paying off. I see people in the fandom make unjustified opinions on him because he used to OP which doesn’t make sense because currently in the manga we all know that Asta is stronger than Yuno and a lot more characters in the show are way more OP than he is. Either way even if we show more of him to make his fans happy it’s going to make the other fans mad because he’s not the main character there’s no way you can please everyone and if they themselves continue stating that he doesn’t work hard or that he’s a bad character that’s on themselves they are missing out on the amazing character that he is and how much of a hard-working it’s just because they won’t see past but the story gives you and not the subtle hints and Dialect that he and the characters around him states

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm the same way with Asta. I like and for sure root for him, but sometimes his personality is a bit too much for me. The loud character's never meshed with me lol. Yuno isn't always the nicest person, and his personality can rub other character's the wrong way, but he's never not shown kindness or compassion. Also, other arguments are that he's arrogant, which I'm like - how? ow can you be arrogant and recognize the ONLY person in the whole world (at least we know of for now) with no magic powers as your rival? Everyone is dogging Asta about being weak because he has no magic but Yuno's like, "you don't even know. He is my rival to be Wizard King. get out of here with that nonsense." Even now as a vice-captain, he still refers to Klaus as "sempai" and shows him respect. Arrogance and confidence while different sides of the same coin, are very different. Yuno is confident in his abilities just as Asta is. Nozel, another character I like, is a character I would be more willing to use arrogance for. And yeah, way more OP characters. I would even site Luck for that. He say that guy make rune magic ONCE and boom he is able to make it while Magna is struggling. Both Luck and Yuno had high mana affinity, so to both of them acquiring magical feats just come easier to them.n

Yes that’s what I think too of course I root for Asta because come on the boy has been though a lot especially if you think about it how it would be as a kid that live in a world of magic being the only one without it. I do think as a kid he probably got bullied kids will be kids. But yea hes loud like really really loud. A few years ago when I started watching it I stoped bc he was too loud but I went back to watch it bc I really o like the storyline. That’s why I tend to like the quiet ones with a side of angst because your story if you don’t get hurt a little. I don’t think either yuno or asta are Arrogant overconfident maybe a little. Nozel I don’t think she was a lot of confident in herself of her abilities at the beginning but she was still overconfident as her status as a royal. The she gets so much better with her magic. I don’t think Yuno is rude in the way most are I like to read about characters a lot and I do believe in the current manga Yuno is not as strong as Asta and in someways I do think it has to do with asta throughout the series you can see how Asta brings out the best of everyone and how he’s able to help them get stronger to achieve your goals but one person that doesn’t help Is Yuno. You can see how restricted closed off he is and I do believe that has to do with Asta as he was so Fixated on beating him that he didn’t feel the need to connect with others and currently they right now have been apart from each other for a long time longer than I think they usually always been even if they’re from different knights. And how he’s not really stronger than he was before the time skip I think in a way during the time skip instead of growing longer in terms of power see more likely grew as a person because in the beginning you can see how he was pretty close off rude to other members as most likely he was a peasant they were Royals and Nobels. But now in the current Manga I see he smiles more and he cares more about his group and I think that’s a better development then he could get the terms of power I do think currently right now the story is going he should have a power up because you know I think this arc ties a lot back to him
